6/18/2023 5:09pm Exactly if it does absolutely nothing but the rider thinks it does it's worth it. They asked Jordy a similar question about saying they made a change but didn't actually change anything. He said won't do it and fully respect the reason he gave but damn I bet there are time it would a useful tool. The mind is powerful and can be more powerful than something scientific. I know one weird one for me for a long time was I was faster and more comfortable riding with 3/4 or long sleeves than short sleeves. Having something on my elbow...

6/15/2023 5:33pm Getting to the third pic, seeing one of these on the shock, on the bars, on the hub AND on the frame in just three (macro-ish) pics... yeah, how much weight was actually added with these? Because that's all they are 'good' for, adding weight. And they suck at that too.

6/15/2023 12:44pm From the company's website: "Snipptec has developed several processes that permanently change carrier materials using different electromagnetic treatments with different wavelengths. This carrier material is cast in so-called converters and interacts with the test vehicle when it is glued on. This interaction leads to altered vibrational patterns." If you believe that, I've got a Nigerian prince I'd like to introduce you to.

5/9/2023 2:26am Everyone on here thinks you're a moron, and nobody values your opinion. GT didn't even read your email, they didn't get a single idea from you or your silly cartoon bikes. Go and spend your parent's money on fursuits and leave us cyclists in peace.

5/6/2023 5:26am I think it might look cleaner, so it works when seeing it online or from some distance. As soon as you're getting closer you start noticing ugly proportions and poorly executed details. I saw an UNNO dash in person recently and the cheap shitty looks of that cable entry at the headset would be a dealbreaker even if I was okay with headset routing.

4/10/2023 1:33pm It works great, at least on paper. Sadly, all the parts that are stacked in vvc mechanism have to be made to tighter tolerances than fox is capable of doing, so in real world the leading shim either has preload(at least in this case it has tuning range)or float(in which case high speed adjuster does next to nothing and overall damping is also very soft. If some really high end manufacturer like ext of bos came up with this mechanism I would believe they are capable of keeping the tolerances tight enough, but with fox? Forget it, only hight end...

4/7/2023 5:20pm It’s not even a big problem for future Commencal owners, because majority of bikes will end up in bike shops with cracked frame warrantys before the headset dies. And then the bikeshop will have to deal with headset cable routing and bearing replacement.

4/7/2023 5:19pm Sorry, but who is paying Commencal to use headset cable routing? Big headset? Local bike shops to charge more for servicing? Total garbage lol. Its done for looks to the average joe, and its cheaper production.

3/22/2023 4:32pm Why are companies doing this? I own a 2022 Meta SX, best bike I've ever ridden but if this is the route (no pun intended) Commencal wants to take, I will look for another brand for my next bike, as would most likely everybody. Why is that so hard for companies to understand?

3/22/2023 4:31pm Well now that's a bummer. One more brand to cross of the list (still might nab a Meta Sx before it's too late!)

3/22/2023 2:48pm Rant mode on 1) How is standind o the derailleur body be a test of durability? Take a big rock and bang the derailleur and the cage with it, very hard, hand seee what happens (might be actually super tough, but when is the actual body the problem with durability?) 2) I get it that PB editors are just chasing money nowadays, but them keeping calling 4-bar frames 6-bar really grinds my gears. Rant mode off. On a more serious note, The saracen looks cool, they went away completely from their previous platform. Also interesting that it looks to be...

3/22/2023 7:08am To be honest I noticed the TRP stuff much more than if it was released a week ago. A week ago it would have been 'nice, I wonder what Sram will put out'. Now it's like 'TF is Sram smoking with these prices and features, TRP looks like an utter win compared to this'.
