Looks like it. It's heavy but works great against burping and if you dent the rim.

Stopping power would still increase by 6%, since friction is independent of surface area: Friction = μ N. So these brakes should be about 6% more powerful than the comparison, at least nominally. I would be interested in knowing how much more lever throw is needed though. On a side note, I wonder if the three pistons make it harder...

I was under the impression that pad size does not affect power (at least in theory) since you spread the force on a larger area.

Nathan Pontvianne looks to have gotten his hands on the same unreleased fork stanctions (steel?) that the Specialized team have been running for a while. You can see them better in the latest Vital RAW.

Brosnan missed fewer finals (1). Kiefer missed more (5), but was often faster. Brosnan had 1 podium, Kiefer had 4 (5 top 5 vs 2). So If Kiefer had been a bit more consistent in making finals, he would have been way up in the overall.

From the latest Specialized Gravity YT video it looks like the riders are going to use the airbag. Meyer-Smith was using it at hardline which probably wasn't just a one-off thing then. I wonder if they will develop a DH-specific deployment algorithm.
