Please don’t change the fantasy system, if you do it’ll be the same as pinkbikes and theirs is boring as hell since starting to play the vital one, you pick your team and they have a crash in qualies.. great, fantasy team wrecked for the whole weekend. The Vital system encourages you to come back over the race weekend and make tweaks based on what you see .. it rains for finals day? Shit better change the team, rider B had fast splits in qualies but a minor mistake? That’s a sleeper, I’ll add him etc..

This, I guess it could be 6000 or 7000 series for machined brakes, your Radics, Trickstuffs, Intends, Lewis(?) while something more conducive to forging for mass produced brakes, your Shimanos and Srams and Hayes and the like. As for bore scoring, I don't really think it's the caliper piston scratching the bore, making particles that then travel to the lever and damage the master bore. It seems it’s mostly just battery size affecting weigh. If the manufacturers just had more options on what battery you could use for what kind of riding you were doing. I’d love a 300wh battery that can be swapped for a 700wt battery on big days. I’d rather use the 43lb bike for my everyday rides. Only use a big battery if I have to . That new Atherton with battery options and the round down tube with long travel, that’s my dream bike.

Hey look what I found in the parts bin: This was one of the last things I worked on at RS before I left... goal was to control big hits by weakening or slowing down the return of the air spring. I run my setup with a lot of spring and no damping, so getting bucked on big hits is part of the deal. This thing 'gulps' all the air in the positive chamber on compression and lets it out with a tiny delay (since it all has to go through the tiny hole to get out). No delay on...

I gotta say, those ladies were sure killing it. Robin's run was incredible (and she did it again on her victory lap!), Cami's chute was crazy (and to do that twice!). Great runs by everyone, they all looked calculated and controlled. El Presidente drop is still insane.

Yeah shout out to sspomer and the vital crew, fantasy was loadsa fun this yr. Fantasy + RAW (shout out Lawlor) + UCI Live Timing + the Downtime pre/post races shows have made for a killer season 🙌

Thanks @sspomer and the rest of the Vital crew for putting on such a great Fantasy Downhill competition again this year! And what a great season of racing we have had! These last few rounds have been nerve racking, but I am beyond stoked to have somehow held on to the lead in the standings 😅. Here's to another great season of racing/fantasy next year 🍻
