10/5/2026 4:34pm Fascinating. I know there is always a "changing of the guard", but it felt completely brutal this year. The young dudes are just mental. I fully expected all the guys you listed above to be getting wins and podiums still, even as they "age". Going to be fascinated to see how Bruni does coming back. I've always thought the true...

Alright, I’ve seen and heard enough post-race media - Vali had some bad luck with a gust. But it’s good to balance out some of the good luck she’s had with a couple of her wins with good luck for a first time World Cup winner.

What a race and what a season! McNab’s and Luke Meier-Smith’s runs were mental!!! Definitely bummed for Pink. Stoked for Asa. 🇺🇸 The points Wheel of Fortune was really manic this year! Imagine if they hadn’t figured out their boneheaded miscalculation until the very end… And oh yeah, BRING BACK WARNER!!!

10/4/2026 12:29pm Okay...haha. I don't need to feel sorry for Vali, just surprised the best rider in the field is suddenly badly casing easy jumps. I love racing and congrats to Asa! What a year of racing.

10/4/2026 11:57am This is not to take anything away from Lisa, stoked for her to win, but that was all due to wind gusts.

Baggage handlers in Montreal hating life as the downhill teams fly in and the road teams fly out from the world champs.

Big shout out to Wyn for the pits video. Those little insights we learn about Jacob Jewetts shoulder, Gwin being the last one to leave the pits and Mad Maxs brake levers captures these athletes in a way that the morons from WBD will never be able to when they shove a mike in front of them. Hope he has a long future in downhill when he stops racing.

Echoing alot of sentiment but for attending my first major MTB event, it was a blast! Random notes from the madness: -holy shit Asa and Aletha are fast. -gutted that alot of the Canadian heavy hitters missed the mark (watching Jackson beat himself into not qualifying was rough) but props to the Jewitt brothers and Helly for giving it a hell of a go. -the track was proper difficult (excluding the one lame flat section with the jump up, drop off thing), the carnage was real and it was snatching souls start to finish. -the nukeproof "beachball's" getting one of...

9/28/2026 5:30pm Not sure if others feel this way watching a run like Asa's, but I could feel the magic of it, knew he was going so fast and would smash the field, but I was terrified it would end in disaster and he would be hurt. His crossing the finish line was just a pure feeling of relief. Heightened by having...

Wow, that looked like a great race to watch. Thanks UCI, for paywalling it--ya suck! Top four men within 1.5 second, all under 22 years old. Jonty coming up next year. The sport is NOT slowing down.

Once Jackson's sister showed up and surprised him in the pits, after that heartfelt hug, it was pretty much over for all the other senior men's racers. I think she deserves a cut of his winnings, just like his mechanic.
