It's not bad converting a 29 front end, you can get a lower headset cup that is extended to make up for the difference. If you have dual crowns, it's super easy, especially with a upper drop crown. Converting a small wheel to a big one will be much harder to preserve geometry, because you have no extra axle to crown length to use.

I get the most excited for the custom Rampage bikes. IMO, cooler than Worlds bikes because there are so many variables... gears/singlespeed, dual crown/single, DH/freeride frame, air/coil, 29/27.5 or dual 27.5 or mini mullet. Plus the custom paint and such. Bring on the Pit Bits for Rampage!

If true it's wild that the Sight VLT will have gone through FIVE different generations in the same time the YT Decoy's mould has not changed at all. Hey Lawn Dart, Here are some answers to your questions: 1. It sounds like you might be describing a pedal kickback event due to heavy suspension compression into a G-out. That is exactly what the Sidekick addresses. 2. We don't have plans for straight pull MTB hubs currently. All else being equal - same rim, same spokes/nipples ect, there is not a technical reason why one should see notably better durability/stiffness out of a straight pull vs a J-bend. Hmm, not sure why you assume I’m “not running proper equipment.” My bike is built for riding in legit terrain where shit can go sideways. Thankfully, it rarely ever does - exactly because I “run proper equipment” - but if/when shit does happen I want at least a fighting chance of riding my bike out of the woods. I’ll take the minimal weight penalty of some bits and pieces rather than hiking out.
