To play devils advocate a little. Is the use of electronic lockouts and moving idlers a slight reflection on mediocrity of some of the tracks where such equipment is needed and clearly beneficial. Should this type of stuff be regulated. Something a little weird about using electronic stuff in dh racing.

Already seen these out in the wild on some current Zebs and a 38mm Boxxer. Definitely to get around whoever holds the patent. It's a knurled thumbscrew with a 4mm hex hole that simply goes into the same threads. Crack it a turn or so and you can hear it equalise.

If the semis concept was not pointless enough, the lack of coverage makes the whole thing just silly. It's beyond me the number of riders who will return home on Sunday after a very expensive trip with almost no trace of coverage (thank god for the RAWS and several vlogs on YT) Also, as an spaniard, I still don't know how am I going to watch the race. Best bet right now is a replay on Eurosport on monday, probably with terrible spanish commentary. This is just wrong.

AFAIK there has never been coverage of qualis. Pretty shit that they've dropped the semis coverage though, I didn't tune in to many of them last year as I found it was too much to view in one day, but I had thought I'd be more interested to watch this year as they're a day earlier. Now there's no coverage it makes them seem more pointless than ever.

Replacing all of those 21-23 X2s must've been expensive.

I just want to say for the record, fuck Pinkbike for making the prizes available for only 4-5 countries! One of the cool things about fantasy games with prizes is in my opinion the fact that things can be won by people in places who aren't as wealthy as others and to some true fans their passion for the sport could be game changing for their riding. I really don't grasp why you would pull a dick move like that. So hats off to Vital for being able to put together such a generous purse each round! Mx

oh yeah. i forgot qualies and semis are the same day. makes it tough to end it after qualies when it's early morning for most NA's

thanks all! glad you're stoked! we had a lot of people help make this happen and finally hyped to turn it on! remember, you can tweak your team until saturday night at 11pm PST, so that's after semi finals. go brave, make your picks and run or get crafty and see who's actually going to the show and adjust.

Exactly if it does absolutely nothing but the rider thinks it does it's worth it. They asked Jordy a similar question about saying they made a change but didn't actually change anything. He said won't do it and fully respect the reason he gave but damn I bet there are time it would a useful tool. The mind is powerful and can be more powerful than something scientific.
