Didn’t kolb use some at the beginning of the season.  Burgtec probably just said let’s make you some trick ones and get some good press.

Can’t imagine the market on Mx dropouts for xl v10s large enough to warrant production but I’d love to be wrong.

I wonder if they'll finally ditch the 29er rear wheel for the XL after this.

Tinfoil hat alert: the switch to 55mm chainline for sram transmission is laying the groundwork for 13 speed as sram's next MTB drive train innovation.

maybe... but they already have a T-type (flat top) 13 speed drivetrain based on a 47.5 chainline.  If they do come out with a 13 speed drivetrain, I'll be a bit surprised because we're already at a durability tipping point with 12 speed and ebike drivetrains.  Still, I could see a cash grab for a high end, pedal bike focused 13 speed drivetrain.

Yet I am over here about to seek out if anyone can make me some extensions for full 29 like Minnaar used to run! so, if anyone sees this and is capable, please actually holler.

Spotted the new burgtec cloud dh seat today in the LBS, nowhere on their website or online shops. Yep it's only a seat but it's mighty fine looking for a dh sled.

Excited for this one. Does the version replacing the Sb160 allow for mullet and full 29? I'd love to be able to swap wheel sizes. Hope the chainstay length is right too...

Honestly, that looks super easy to make and pretty light on machining. Need to see the other side too

Yeti loves their low stack... almost as much as Pivot loves a short CS.

Could be wrong, but I feel like the market is driven by what faster (or perceived to be faster) and in more and more cases MX is faster even for XL riders though. I remember when Minnaar first went to Norco there was some pushback from him to go MX but after a couple timed laps the choice was pretty obvious. Just one case but I think it was in a Vital Pits a while back.

That's just my two senes on what's going on with DH right now.
