Surprised no one mentioned the Pink site article on the new Lyrik and SRAM patent on what is actually inside that leg - " Published on August 28th for SRAM LLC, the document shows a fork with a user-adjustable bottom-out bumper located at the bottom of the fork leg. This could prevent harsh bottom-outs and act as an on-the-fly bottom-out adjustment tool."

I’m not sure that Norco is actually dropping the Optic, but I do know that it didn’t sell as well as the Sight. The average customer just doesn’t understand a high pivot, small travel bike. As an Optic owner, I can tell you that it’s the most fun trail bike I’ve ever ridden, but the majority of riders are unwilling to give if a chance since they equate high pivot with big, heavy bikes. Too bad—it’s an awesome bike, one I won’t give up anytime soon.

But it's modular now, you only have to replace the broken part not the whole derailleur. (Pay no attention to the fact that the individual replaceable parts are more expensive than an entire derailleur.)

Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.
