6/3/2026 12:01pm I think it says alot about the bike. 1. “It absolutely shreds” 2. Horst park bike 3. Dual crown 4. Air or coil 5. Made for park and sideways landings 6. Mx wheels 7. Aluminum That’s definitely a sweet spot for many riders who buy bikes. Brage destroying a trail burger doesn’t hurt.

6/3/2026 11:58am My gen3 optic + dvo diamond 36 is the same weight as the status 160 + fox 38 it replaced lol. I wouldn't call it a useless bike. It's niche as fuck, but it's excellent at what it does. It's super jibby and the suspension performance is incredible for only 125mm. It's quite stiff and very burly, and rides like it's meant to be ridden at enduro bike pace on enduro bike terrain if you can hold on to it.

5/29/2026 8:49pm Did anyone read the new Dorado doesn't have a steerer tube, just a threaded rod to compress the bearings? Pretty interesting concept.

5/28/2026 3:00pm Replacing the Strive? That’s crazy So you have to either choose more of a trail bike or a freeride bike as an enduro, not a 160mm bike

5/27/2026 8:41pm I had heard rumors they were going USD on the v2, guess those weren't true. Still, sounds like some changes to the air spring (spring backed? is this like DVO / SR Suntour's spring negative they used to use?) and damper (wtf is air backed bladder?). Love the polished crown, though. The prototypes were fully polished and looked awesome, cool to see them at least partly return to that

5/27/2026 8:39pm Have not noticed any significant drag on my OneUp hubs but keeping that in the back pocket as an excuse the next time I'm last up the climb on a group ride.

5/21/2026 4:26pm That's good. I have said it before, but the phantom was a bike so good i bought it twice (with v1 spur in between). And now the frames still available were cheaper than EPing them. They better fix seatpost insertion. Otherwise, any other tweaks would just be icing on the cake.

5/21/2026 4:25pm One of my buddies who rides for Banshee says there are a bunch of new frames coming out this year. Didn't have any details around what's being updated/changed or what's new, but they're coming.

5/18/2026 10:02am Whichever bike has the best damper tune specced probably wins at that point. I'm pretty sure that's a big deciding factor between bikes with different linkage designs also though. You would need control wheels, and tires at a minimum, and probably drivetrain also to get any useful data about which frame works better.
