That sounds like someone was over-springing their bike with the stock link and then over-sprung it with our link. Part of the idea is to be able to run around 30% sag and have good bottom out resistance. Lack of sag and/or lack of progression is what will...more
I’ve heard that the CC link makes the Sight overly harsh off the top. Can anyone confirm? My Sight with a coil blew through travel and bottomed hard before I bought a progressive spring. Was thinking the new link might make it even better with a coil, so I was surprised to hear less-than-ecstatic reviews.

Being nice to the employees at yourfriendlylocal bike shops! They can't speed up overseas raw materials production, adjust the value of national currencies or prevent cargo ships from sinking, so, even though it's a bummer the bike service queue is 3 weeks long or your new bike won't be in for a...more
I bought the DH casing Versus tires front and back and I’m a believer. Faster rolling than what I had before (Snap Flow Trail) snd they aren’t wearing too quickly. Good price, good quality, cool guys at the company, I’m sold.
Not much into reading are we? We ran it at 180 mm for this "downduro" test.

How's the new Sentinel feel with a coil? And do you recommend any coils in particular to run on the new bike?
I’ve run the Vee Flow Snap WCE’s front and rear, and I’ve never experienced better grip. Currently running the DHF and Dissector in the rear, and it’s pretty good, but I plan to go back to Vee—best grip and trail damping ever.
I've been riding a 2019 Scout for just over a year, and I agree in part with this review. It is definitely the most fun-loving bike I've ever owned. And while it's no speed climber, it's intended to party downhill. The added girth allows you to blast through chunk 130 mm has no business taking on. That said, when the gnar bar gets raised to the upper levels, you have to back off the speed compared to a true enduro bike. As far as I'm concerned, the Scout is a party on wheels. If you're racing, it's probably not for you. If you're into goofing off and messing around with your buds as if you're snowboarding, it's a quality package that's tough to beat.

I’ve owned this helmet for two years now, and I’ve had zero complaints. Yesterday I took a major, scary spill, and hit my head really hard. The technology worked. The ol’ gourd is a little rattled on the inside, but the helmet did its job protecting me, and I’m thankful for it. I agree with everything from the review above, and can add that when your dome hits the dirt, the Ambush has your back.
