Going to test some new ebike cranks this week, a prototype 150mm crank from a local company. Should be interesting, I've never tried anything that short before.

Curious to hear how other people custom tune their motor settings. There are infinite factors that come to play when it comes to matching or comparing one brand’s power output to another, (motor power, rider weight, tire selection etc.), but I thought it would be cool to catalogue different riders’ settings here and talk about how the different modes feel...

The industry is trying to push the SL emtb sector in a big way right now, which is cool, but to expect actual XC parts to withstand the stresses of a motor isn't realistic. I think we'll see a correction, probably with an emphasis on durable drivetrain parts, and find weight savings elsewhere as the SL bikes mature.

Now that I’ve had the Fluid VLT with the Bosch SX motor for a while, I’ve found the app to be pretty straightforward and easy to use. The custom modes are simple to work with. I found the difference between emtb and turbo to be minimal, though—turbo is just a tad punchier, at least how I have my bike set...

I ride a Commencal Meta TR Bosch CX and have mixed feelings on the App overall but I think the mode customization is quite good. I’m still learning the bike and app but I’m as likely to pull some of the dynamics out of a mode as I am to add anything for where I ride. (TX). The stock settings are quite punchy.

Very personal, but for me Maxxis, including specifically the Assegai, tend to puncture much faster than Schwalbe of equivalent weight. Most Maxxis DD's I have tried were dead in under a month on the rear (multiple snakebites or big tear), whereas a Schwalbe supertrail will probably last at least 3 months, and a supergravity will never die (talking sidewalls here, knobs will be long gone)

Maxxis take notes. We want a 2C in DH and DH casing!

Shorter chainstays, but the bikes feel fairly long, from what I’ve heard. But also, the new high pivot makes it feel even more planted and like a dh bike, yet somehow more playful than the previous version Range, from what people have said.

What a depressing set of comments today. Biking is a hobby, people can enjoy it as they wish. Get over yourselves and let people be happy. Complaints about other peoples opinions are not tech rumors.

I love going to races and riding with my buddies, but in the last year I found great joy in exploring the woods on the e-bike by myself. I ride it in places where I wouldn't go on my regular bike, because I don't want to gamble my energy on something not worthy of being ridden, if that makes any sense. I would probably be pretty depressed right now, if it wasn't for my e-bike, so I am very grateful for having it in my life. It is a nice slice of independence, even if it probably doesn't appear to...
