I will call this, the Tyee that should've been, no cable tourism bullshit, no caliper inside the seatstay bullshit, bravo Propain, seriously considering this one as my next bike unless Evil drops something better ( for me )

FFS. You know how there's those grumpy commenters on the other site that call every E-Bike a motorbike or moped? This is that, and I hate it. The fun of an E-Bike is that it takes a lot of the effort out of pedalling, but it still feels like youre riding a mountain bike. This is a literal motorbike conversion, but with MTB geo. Gross.

I noticed some silver Crankbros wheels popping up, first in Brian Cahal's video on the new Ari Ebike, now on Commencal's Instagram. Hopefully these are releasing soon. Silver rims absolutely need to come back!

Nothing really new here, but EXt working on some "normal" looking mud gards! Hope that fox offers a similar one in the future. Gives the USD fork kind of a more "normal" look. (I say normal just because im not used to USD forks in mtbs, but they do look good)

can we please stay rumors in here?! i get that these discussions are fun, but also annoying to most who just want to read about new tech/rumors and don‘t want to scroll through pages of off-topic discussions regarding chainstay length/right amount of travel/dropper post insertion/ etc. thx guys!

My Kavenz has a 1.8 front center/rear center ratio. I’ve also ridden the same bike set up with a 1.93 ratio. The handling characteristics between the two setups is stark. Not as noticeable when it’s super steep but the 1.8 ratio corners way better. Front wheel grip is massively better in flatter corners. The 1.8 ratio setup is also more forgiving of body position and easier to ride fast. I’m firmly in the long chainstay gang at this point.

Banshee Titan frames are going for cheap right now, a large gets you to a 1.77 ratio with the long dropouts. Maybe worth trying for someone really wanting to experiment. Seatpost insertion isn't great, but that's my only complaint with mine

Hey everyone, this is TJ. Tariffs aren't fixed to factory cost, or wholesale or retail. They're calculated based on the specific transaction price. The example we used is accurate for an ecomm purchase, shipped from our warehouse in Canada. If a retailer ordered the same short and we charged them half the price ($100), the same tariff percentage would apply, so tariffs would be $145 for a total cost to the retailer of $245. If the retailer sells that short to a customer and maintains their dollar margin the short would be $345 to the end user - however if...

Hi! This is my first post on this thread, but I have been reading for 2 years now. I talked with Sam pilgrim and a few other canyon guys at Tennessee Nationals, and also got to swing a leg over the Production New canyon sender.
