I think hucking to flat or nose casing a jump are both examples of extremely high frequency loads. A low frequency load would be a frame and fork bolted into a hydraulic test rig in a lab, where the force is cranked up slowly and consistently. Think about shaft speeds on a damper. Either one of those impacts would be considered a very high frequency (aka high shaft speed) impact, even if they don't literally happen over and over again at a high frequency. Just because I'm not hucking to flat 5 times per second doesn't mean I'm not applying...

The Aventon Current seems like a very promising bike, somewhat comparable to the base model Amflow in design, spec, and price, but about 7lbs heavier. The weight doesn't make it a total non-starter in my mind though, as many people thought the Amflow was underbuilt, and the Aventon has a few key differentiators that, if they deliver in the real world, seem genuinely ground breaking to me! 1. @sprungmass pretty much nailed it. I have 2 bikes in my rotation that have ochains and just recently tried a deg-df kit in the only deg dt350 hub I have in my families fleet of bikes. The degdf kit is 90% as good imo. I prefer the ochain over the degdf, but the ochain is a pain, maintenance heavy, physically heavy, has chainring limitations etc etc. As is noted, the deg-df will bottom out with a hard clank in certain situations. In practice, this only happens rarely and 9/10, it happens because the user is pedaling squares like a muppet...

One thing people often forget with dual crowns on ebikes is turning radius. Having gone from 56mm offset to 46mm offset on my Boxxer on my park bike (Patrol with dropper for pedaling) the turning radius diff is very noticeable and has pigeon-holed it into a bike that I no longer climb singletrack on. NBD on a park build, but on an ebike where the downtube is now twice as wide and the problem is even worse. Based on your helpful diagram it looks like Forbidden just uses the horizontal measurements (449+796.9 = 1245.9 or rounded up to 1246) to determine wheelbase, even though they don't use the horizontal measurement for front center.
