8 hours ago Anyone have any insight if tq bikes will go on sale when they drop the 120? Or will they be keeping the 60.

7/3/2026 3:00am Is there any way to look at the Chinese market itself? I remember a cahal video where the went to china and it seemed the majority of bikes were Chinese brands. Are brands like amflow even building for the western market or is it an afterthought? Also I bet that too flexy frame was a result of testing with riders...

6/29/2026 12:27am I don't know if I could put a number on it for how long. But yeah, I think if you worked on it for 5 days and had some background in setup and bike mechanic skills, you can figure it out. BYB is prob the most user-friendly to start with. The hardest part is mounting sensors and the linkage ratio for the rear axle information. Nick from @Downamics will have his book out soon, which will be a total unlock for all of us to take data setup to the next level. https://www.datadrivendescents.com/ This podcast with the late Dave Garland...

6/27/2026 2:58pm Would you say around 40 hours of testing is enough time to become reasonably proficient? Or is it something I’m going to have to sink 100+ plus to actual be able to use it to improve setup? Cheers!

6/27/2026 2:56pm I dont want to scare people away, but also not set them up for failure but its definitely not easy - you dont need a technical background but you need a lot of patience in the beginning g to understand what it all means. Ie making lots of changes while riding the same track and observing the difference in data. Then ride a different track with the same settings and see how it changes again - its easy to think you are seeing things in the data and get led astray, it is very powerful but it is just one...

6/27/2026 10:39am Hey I’ve been cruising through this thread and just at first glance it seems pretty technical. I love doing bike setup for myself and friends, is telemetry pretty easy to understand once you’ve actually got your own data, or do you need to have a technical background to actually get any use out it? Looking to pick myself up a...

6/26/2026 10:10am I have been working really really diligently to not blame the long rear center on my spire XXL for my shit Manuals. I never really had them on lock anyways…. So I keep pulling and thrusting and ripping my shoulders apart all the time. Like trails, uphills , rough stuff , speed slow, cruising with the kids on connectors- just really diligently practicing like a proper mt bike trail rider should always do. It’s coming along too. I have that poppy at speed shit , but now I’m starting to really get comfortable with the amount of body English and...

6/26/2026 10:10am The internal cable routing on my Norco rattles like a bitch, except it's guided tubes so I can't stuff anything down the downtube to get it to shut up. Quite dumb.

6/25/2026 11:48am Setting up my mom’s orbea rise and it’s got the little cable from the shimano remote run into the bars with a slick bar divot and a little hole to go inside the bar. Except the minimum you can cut the bar to is 770 🙄. Why would you spec a medium with a min bar size of 770 w/o...

6/22/2026 4:34pm https://bridgemi.com/outdoors-life/e-motos-sometimes-mistaken-for-e-bik… Not to totally derail things, but I was thinking about Surron and some other lite emoto manufacturers who who refer to their products as ebikes when they're clearly mopeds or motorcycles instead. Then I ran across this article from a local state news source of how everyone is dealing with it, which i already knew but, I got to thinking what's the potential for a class action lawsuit against Surron for mislabeling and purposely marketing their products as ebikes? Trail centers and even legitimate ebike manufacturers should be able to find standing and it would be a whole lot...

6/13/2026 7:45pm Saints are still right up there with the best for power. Racing codes must have been a huge disadvantage.
