I can't imagine he'll have a tough time finding some kind of support. There is no stronger ambassador for mountain biking than Tippie.

Tippie was in NWA quite a bit over the last couple of years as part of YT events. Everything said on that writeup is true. He's unflagging in his positivity and stoke. He includes everyone and interact with everyone from the kookiest kid to the most seasoned pro. He's almost uncomfortably positive and full of stoke at times, but a brand really couldn't ask for a better ambassador. I hope he lands somewhere. Dude is a legend, and his story of climbing out of the dark depths of addiction is inspirational.

I've done all of the above: robots, 90, and X0 on t-type cassette/chain with a ground-down UDH (Hall-locked). They all work great. The SRAM 90 shifter is just fine, I've got no complaints with it. I sold off my robot derailleur and went to the 90 T-Type mostly due to shifter ergonomics (my brain couldn't get locked in with good muscle memory on the pod), but also becasue of battery forgetfulness. I'm a big fan of the mechanical T-Type.

Also spotted this factory Trek on the uplift trailer today. Was being ridden by some Irish guy 🤷🏼‍♂️

V+R Racing is just two mere peasants (well, a nurse and a medical device engineer). When we started out in 2019 the two of us were just buying DH bikes for junior riders who needed them. Many seasons and many riders later, we had two world cup DH juniors in '25 with one finishing second overall and the other finishing 10th overall. We obviously can't afford our own team, but we can still be a hat/helmet sponsor. I'm still driving my 16 year old car - it just comes down to priorities for us. And we're proof it doesn't have...

Total Air was a brand in our portfolio – those were made here in our facility. Eko Sport / Mountain Racing Products is our legal name, and we own and produce MRP, Kreitler Rollers, and Power Grips pedals. We also had/used the White Brothers, Tamer (seatposts) and Total Air brands previously, but no longer produce products with those names. We brought all of our suspension line under the MRP brand name in 2013 (discontinued White Brothers). I'm not sure when Total Air ended, but it was before I came on board (2010). 👍

No hate but I think this is a bit of an ignorant point of view. It is an extreme event we are debating so strong opinions on both sides are set to come out. I don't think a single one of those riders even considers fame or money when building their line. Their drivers are likely the rush of a complete run, the satisfaction of their line working, the high of adrenaline, their desire to push the sport and themselves and the goal of winning.
