Weight doesn't matter to me personally. It's all about tires, rotating mass weight and suspension kinematics. I pedal a 39lb nomad with DH tires on 4-5k climbing days, I do both big/small days on my 19lb gravel bike with 48c tires. Layout and exact numbers aside, there really isn’t anything that sets it apart from a Kona. Both are linkage driven single pivots so leverage ratio can be tuned independent of axle path, anti-squat, and anti-rise. But with both, like any single pivot, once you pick pivot placement, axle path, anti-squat, and anti-rise are set in stone. Yes. It's hard to see as currently they're more expensive, but the price will come down in real terms each generation whereas labour cost in general, stays constant or increases in real terms.
