1/21/2025 6:46pm This week on team rumors: IS AMAURY CHEATING ON MAX WITH THE BIG "S"? SHOULD PIVOT HR TALK TO BK? IS KATE COURTNEY'S NEW TRUCK RELIABLE? Now that I have your attention, do we think the other teams would even bother with the belt drive if they knew Rach was possibly returning aboard that Atherton belt drive prototype this season? I know the elite women's field has changed a lot since she was last in the mix. That said, I honestly think Rachel could win pushing a '99 Uzzi this season if that was her ride.

1/21/2025 11:46am Also, the progression in this video is so cool, especially when you consider that 2006 truck won the baja 1k that year.

1/21/2025 8:43am 2 months ago I bought a new 24' Instinct as my winter project which unfortunately came out of the factory with a long crack in the seat tube. 2 weeks ago I visited a local RM dealer here in PNW (Seattle area) and asked them to submit a warranty claim for me. Within a week they got an answer that it was approved and I should receive a new front triangle within a few weeks (they guess around 2) as they have to paint it first to match my frame (surprisingly they paint frames in BC based on the original...

1/14/2025 12:34pm Alleged, not charged and no conviction Roque Racing, small team and I assume a small budget. Maybe his “baggage” priced him into a smaller lesser known team. Antonio Brown of the NFL was convicted of assault charges on his wife and the NFL still let the guy play. Not alleged, convicted. Give TD a chance until he’s charged and convicted. Too much bashing of riders on the forum based on speculation and not facts. Leaning into slander in some cases imo

1/13/2025 4:12pm SH: "...It’s actually been super disappointing that many long-time sponsors that I have stayed loyal to throughout my career can’t even make an effort to reply to emails or messages." Damn, choosing to not pick up the phone/email when SH calls is a choice for sure. He's not on top of the game anymore but at least pitch him some gear ffs.

1/9/2025 10:48am Just to put a fork in this one, I did hear from a reputable unnamed source that AB is doing just fine. So, lets chalk that up to the first "L" of the year for me! I feel my big miss here was twofold, besides the fact the flat out make a killer bike. Equity Sale: They raised at least $4M, which is a chunk. Plus, its equity so you aren't on the clock to pay it back. This is plenty of capital to put infrastructure in place without financing terms you'd usually have to be subjected to. Hence, if...

1/9/2025 10:42am I loved this little detail on the DHR. The frame was so nicely executed, still my fav DW-Link packaging.

1/8/2025 11:51am The problem is that the current "standard" of just a couple posts in the frame leaves much to be desired in terms of accuracy and convenience. Not to mention it's not an easily replaced part. If someone hamfists the threads on their brake posts then they could be in for an expensive repair. Just because we currently have something doesn't make it "good" and it's completely backwards compatible like UDH. I only see this new standard as a positive. There's also the benefit of (potentially) not needing to realign calipers all the effing time for every minor brake related job...

1/7/2025 5:40pm I mean we're all shooting darts with at least one eye closed here; no one knows what's going on and if they did it wouldn't be made public here. I sincerely hope all the brands, especially the ones with true cycling enthusiasts, make it in the long run.

1/7/2025 10:24am You're combining several topics here, like manufacturing in Asia vs. domestically. Apples to apples, cnc lug and round tube frame construction is less expensive than both hand-laid carbon frames or welded, hydroformed, alloy frames. The former, per frame project, will have a lower Capex up to a certain volume, then the latter will gain the advantage as volumes increase. There...
