AFAIK it was never confirmed he was signed to GasGas. He has a few photos and the rumor mill picked it up. He is/was probably in talks with them though.

Bushing require tight tolerances and proper maintenance. The cycling industry is crappy at tight tolerances. Most cyclist are crappy at maintenance. It's a win win resulting in the horrible reputation that bushings have. Like press fit bearings, they are the correct engineering solution. But that would require the bike industry to stop being crappy.

To me this seems silly, defeating the whole point of a Horst Link. The impact on the virtual axle path (and therefore most things besides anti-rise) between a Horst link and a single pivot or spilt pivot is pretty minimal. The main benefit is that you can define your anti-rise. Back before the Horst Link patent was up, and I was considering getting a Brake Therapy adapter for my Kona, I thought of the following workaround for single pivot, faux-four-bar suspension layouts to isolate brake forces. 2 months ago I bought a new 24' Instinct as my winter project which unfortunately came out of the factory with a long crack in the seat tube. 2 weeks ago I visited a local RM dealer here in PNW (Seattle area) and asked them to submit a warranty claim for me. Alleged, not charged and no conviction Roque Racing, small team and I assume a small budget. Maybe his “baggage” priced him into a smaller lesser known team. Antonio Brown of the NFL was convicted of assault charges on his wife and the NFL still let the guy play. Not alleged, convicted. Give TD a chance until he’s charged and convicted. Too much bashing of riders on the forum based on speculation and not facts. Leaning into slander in some cases imo
