Yeah, I was hoping the two stars ( Loris back to Fox, Dialed back online) would align. Dialed on its own is awesome, best vlog on the WC but watching Jordi dealing with Loris pickiness is just chef kiss

FWIW I bumped into Jordi on a flight this summer and asked about Dialed; he was not optimistic to say the least.
I think they did, but were filming for Pitted for the other site. I miss dialed, but tbf Pitted was pretty good and a refreshing take.

Phil has a new lubricant sponsor that will get him to the races.
And EVL is off Monster, in talks with water for new helmet sponsor. Should help her when it rains.

That would check out, considering Fox has been in financial trouble for over a year. I think they've just been slashing costs and trying to keep the ship afloat while riding out this bike market. No extra cash for Dialed. And yes, this is probably related. It would make sense that Fox pulled back on contracts last year and this year. SRAM (Rockshox) probably paid more than Fox could for Commencal. That's how it works on these top teams. The component brands pony up to sponsor the team. $$. Performance is obviously important to the racers, but if the product lines are similar, they're going for the cash.

Especially given it's not a vacuum, every other sponsor is feeling the pinch. none of these teams are going to be able to turn away an offer for better payout, regardless of rider preference.

Do you mean you literally overheard someone say *wyn was spotted on a hyper, and you weren't sure if they said Wyn, Gwin or any other -win name, presumably because you were hiding in the closet, covertly listening in to one side of a phone conversation, or perhaps even using one of those spy-radar listening device things? If so, that is the kind of team rumour I am here for.
That might move them into spot 15 on the team ranking and move Syndcate down and out of the top 15.
Frameworks looks like it has also been moved out of the top 15.

Don't forget that aside the 5 seasonlong wildcards, they also hand out 8 wildcards to teams per each individual round. So we are talking 28 teams per worldcup race.

Aon slots in a 12th right now then the syndicate and frameworks in 14th
Cami seems to be the only rider not announced that could impact how teams are ranked but with the teams she’s being rumoured to join it wouldn’t be enough. Yeti or pivot would still be out of the top 15. If she went with Scott then they would just move from 15th to closer to top 5
I guess the hard part now is, when do they announce these per round wild card entry's? Planning to move a team around in the past seasons should have been happening last month I'm guessing once you had your contracts in place through the fall? Slotting in as a wild card in march or later I'm sure would jack up costs significantly to book closer to an event, unless the UCI will have accommodations set aside for wild card entry's. May is coming up fast.
Interesting to see how everything's settling in points wise. Love the Aon team, great mix. Of all the rule changes this year, I'm stoked at the team mixes finally kind of evening out. Commencal/Muc-off and PFR kind of set the tone for what teams should be structured like a few years ago with men, women and jr's instead of just 1-2 super star men. To see Norco, Syndicate and Aon with a pretty diverse mix is pretty nice.

Current rankings based on the announced teams and rumors we have. This is based on the top 4 scoring members of each team based only on finals points, neglecting points from qualis.

Not sure which list is more accurate but top 15 is basically the same just a little different line up.
Pinkbike's list is more accurate to the announced teams and riders that are assumed to be staying on the same team. The spreadsheet includes rumored team moves, which could make it more accurate if the rumors are good, but on the other hand bad rumors could completely mess up the order.

That's mad looking at those lists, I would never have predicted the points tally of some of the teams even a couple of weeks ago. Points required to get into the top 15 are much higher than I thought too.
Ha! Yes those are pretty sweet. No, I’m a mountain biker, I heard it from the voices in my head 🙃. But it could be an interesting fit for Wyn, and definitely could be a revenue stream for Gwin without infringing on his potential clientele. Just trying to introduce some more fun into rumors, sorry if the joke didn’t land. And it could go into hyperdrive.
For Cami, I’m thinking Yeti or Scott because the Pivot is an air shock from what I’ve seen. Black and white photos with something over the head tube. BC to Scott and maybe Cami too.
Also surprised no one has mentioned Erice isn’t wearing her Monster gear in her Hardline or team pics. Maybe something new coming.
