Latest OTB podcast with Wyn . Still with GT and Dom Platt on the privateer programme. They also mention Ronan saying there is a rumour he's done something to his pelvis . Hopefully nothing major 🤞

Richie running new Fox coil and new shimano brakes/rotors. Also still has neo sensors by calipers but doesn’t look like Neo shock. Maybe just left them on as he’s offseason testing

Historically, Jack Moir not been on rockshox/sram everything and maxxis has not ended up good. Hope he get's those boingers dialled. When Gwin came to intense and the team all swapped to Fox it seemed to unravel his mojo a bit. I hope I'm wrong and Mr Legs comes out swangin.

Here's a Slayer prototype frame built in 2018 IIRC. I have another example of an earlier prototype built with a chip that allowed a low or mid-height main pivot. I'll have to fire up my external drive (cough I'm old..) to get a photo.

Shout out big privilege, he's a good dude. Always up at mountain creek, just a normal dude that likes riding bikes (with a rap career). I love that it he brings representation for a minority in our sport.

Some new photos from the new Shimano 12-speed wireless Di2 sets, posted here (no idea about the source): https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=171477&start=45 It seems the set is full wireless. +1 pic from the new XTR crankset.

Re the drop that broke BK's Pivot... As has been said, it's a fairly steep/groomed landing. 100% still a massive impact upon landing... But not that insane when compared to the forces put through bikes by consumers. Think, 225lb dude at Whistler, doing a 15ft drop to a more flat landing. Probably as much energy being transferred into the frame as what BK did on the drop that broke his frame. Or same 225lb dude coming up short on a 20ft gap and casing hard. Again, probably similar or more energy than what's being driven through BK's frame on that...

a) That's not the new Orbea DH bike. That's just a Rallon with a dual crown. Photos from the orbeafmdracing 'gram show riders eying up a bike with a very differently shaped top tube and head tube, as well as internal cable routing that enters the frame closer to the head tube (probably better suited to use w/ a dual crown). b) That kind of discussion would be probably better for the Tech Rumors thread.

If the Pivot is the only bike that breaks this week from that drop (which it likely will be at this point), then it's not a good look for Pivot. While hardline is an extreme use case, if all the other brand's bikes hold up, it shows that the Pivot is not as strong. For instance, there are guys like Bulldog, who probably outweighs BK by 30%+, coming off the same drop on his 'cheap' ARI frame and it's holding up. The Pivot frame is VERY light. I believe the lightest weight production frame (by far). I'm assuming Pivot engineers...

Re BK's bike. Look at the angle of the rear wheel as he lands. And the audio is muted on his POV clip in his video when he hits the drop: https://youtu.be/smvc8h3F47Q?si=EsZcoCKF79KcXaHy&t=1098
