We already know his name as he's been making waves for some time already (which is crazy to say given that he's only 11 at present), but Weston Lukens aka " Wes_sends" is set to take the next step now as he has signed on with Neko Mulally's Frameworks program. They've developed a custom 24/26 mullet for him to ride, and by the looks of this reel, Wes is feeling at home on the new rig already. The future is bright...in fact, the future is now!

I’d love to see a shoot out of trail bikes using the same linkage designs. It would really interesting to start to dig a bit deeper as to what sets them apart - quality control, kinematics, maintenance, etc etc.

People also just get bored of one thing. We've been riding enduro bikes for years now. I ride exactly the same trails as I used to on the fleet of enduro bikes I've had over the years, but now I do it on an optic built like an enduro bike (but with 140/125 travel). Same trails, different dynamics. lots of market lost to e-bikes obviously but for the rest, it'll come back around I think.

I thought those brakes were cable actuated when I first looked at the picture.. I used to own a 2010ish Giant STP with cable disk brakes, and that bike did stoppies easier than my enduro bike with Codes and about equal to my other bike with Saints. I don't even know why bike OEM's bother with lower spec hydro brakes from legacy companies after riding that bike, to be honest. That Chinesium Sender is tempting with a capital T!
