The enduro from ‘07 on was always pretty good on climbs. Granted, weights went up with travel and slackened geos… and I haven’t ridden the most recent one. But if the argument for not buying one is due to your legs and lungs sucking, that’s not entirely the bike’s fault. From my wizarding, I’ve deduced there used to be a lot more “climb adverse” people out there who were more on the husky side of life and pushed uphill while complaining the whole time. Many in this Enduro-bro group were buying 170mm enduro bikes to more or less suffer going...

I'm really curious to see a shot of the bike bags and boxes contents getting checked on the way out of YVR. Hopefully the teams were spread out over enough different airlines and flights to manage that workload and not put too much stress on the screeners. The last thing we need is to leave a negative impression of bike...

Hopefully they would use a freight forwarder air freight service. Seems like enough bikes to fill a plane. Can't imagine security checking the contents of every bag.

Outland season for us was 1996, we ran outland frames with Mongoose decals, season prior in 1995 when leigh won worlds, we rode handmade Nicolai frames with mongoose decals (And the last 2 seasons on Mongoose, were Intense M1's with mongoose decals....we basically started that whole fad of riding for a bike brand that did not make DH worthy bikes and the moment Leigh and Lopes rode Palmers intense-it was game over "we have to ride that frame")...so that being said, the outland season was insane; we headed to first world cup in panticosa Spain, I brought 2 spare front...

my 12 year old 110 pounds, runs 20 front and 22 rear for his trail bike with trail casing tires. Still destroys rims from time to time. On his downhill bike, this is the result of 25psi , DHR2 , downhill casing and Tannus insert . Got 2 rides out of this rim. Last season at 100 pounds, only a couple minor dents , this year it’s getting expensive

Apologies if there is any redundancy in what I'm posting, I've fallen behind in my efforts to keep up with the discussions here. If a Shore feels "dead in the rear" then it needs a shock service. High pivots feel great in the rough and jump fine. You will take more of a beating for a bike that jumps well. USD is really strong in Canada at this time, so keep that in mind since $3000us will get you a 4,000+ Canadian bike...
