New Specialized Enduro will drop early summer of 2027. It will come specced with a genie zeb fork. It will have a Genie vivid air, that is mounted vertically directly in front of the seat tube. The rear layout will look similar to a 2012 era Demo 8, but with a link that comes around the seat tube to the top of the shock.

Stole this pic from the other site, but Cube’s got an interesting spoke flange system that allows tuning more compliance by moving the flange inboard or stiffer by moving the flange out. Haven’t seen this approach before!

Looks like whatever is going on, they’ve now removed it while the bike is on display. Honestly not 100% sure what I’m looking at with it removed. Possible just an adaptor to fit it to the stanchions, as well as drop it lower into the stanchion to accommodate the dual crown? The “air” cap on the damper side is likely just a cover for the electronic damper?

Wow I too stand corrected apparently. Surprised this is not a small pull link. Rear triangle has to compress by about 5mm between main pivot and rocker.

From ESMTB/MTBR - Fox seems to be testing new neo suspension for XC this week. No caliper sensors to be seen, battery placement on the bottom of the leg of the fork. Looks like the rumors of the specialized chisel discontinuation were not right, the 2027 version has shown up on the nz website and a few retailers here with the new colourways https://www.specialized.com/nz/en/chisel-comp/p/4291036?color=5478368-4… looks to be the same as the 2026 on specification wise.

my attempt at a palete cleanser to get this forum back on track. Scott XC team is wearing some new interesting looking helmets. Caught my eye is this weekend. Is the black piece another attempt at the canyon breakaway helmet, is it just a fancy sunglass holder, maybe aero? Couldn't find a great photo but its odd looking.

Seems like sram has a new dropper lever+flight attendant button combo. Comes on the new scott spark models that has flight attendant but no axs dropper. For example, Specializeds Epic 8/9 pro models with flight attendant and wired dropper, just comes without a pod for the flight attendant, which I always thought was strange.

Sort of a tech rumour? Remy looks to be on an Avalanche damper in his latest video. We know Vorsprung is working on a new damper, and they had noted they’ve been testing all the other options (including Avy).
