Cube is the only team that applied for a combined category team XC/DH. As they ranked 15 in XC, I assume they found their in for DH.
You can see Ronan is running mavens and xo stuff with fox suspension. I could imagine it would be tough to do the full swap before hardline or as the season kicks into full swing
Glad to see Grandad has been picked up. Still disappointed that he’s not at Hardline though. Not front of the pack but good value nonetheless.

Still no announcement from yeti bikes about their DH team, pretty poor marketing from them……

The UCI doesnt allow the same person to be team manager and rider at the same time.
a) That's not the new Orbea DH bike. That's just a Rallon with a dual crown. Photos from the orbeafmdracing 'gram show riders eying up a bike with a very differently shaped top tube and head tube, as well as internal cable routing that enters the frame closer to the head tube (probably better suited to use w/ a dual crown).
b) That kind of discussion would be probably better for the Tech Rumors thread.

Richie is listed as part of the Enduro team, but the caption on their Instagram post says, "Richie Rude is shifting his focus in 2025 [...] After his fourth World Cup overall title, Richie will return to DH aboard the Yeti Special Projects DH..."

Sounds like dh is the priority for RR.
In the press release they indicated he wants to do the Enduro Worlds, but it does sound like he's going to do all DH the rest of the time.

It’s so so so fucked that Cami could potentially not be racing world cups this year. This new rule change really puts riders on the back foot for negotiating contracts and also really hampers top riders wanting to put together their own program.
She’s in the Top 50 and as long she stays in the top 50 she can race.
I’m curious if Mick Hannah is still with Yeti. He’s not listed on the ebike team…

Where do the top 50 privateers pit.
While Yeti have never had anything more than ez-ups and a van at European races for a long time. I'm sure there'll be room at all venues for teams of top ranked riders. Until now the venues seemed to be able to accommodate 400+ riders. And WBD also provided a privateer 'tent' at some races.
