Their enduro team was done last year but they graciously kept me on board for this year with my contract having another year on it. Sounds obvious of course, but the bike industry isn't always so giving. The DH team took me in and I had a blast all year long, which was the main reason for doing DH at the end of the year. I just wanted to hang out with the team some more, and who wouldn't take the chance to race World Cup DH while they can. As for next year, stay tuned.

I’ve got Maven Base and Dominions. Not a lot of difference in power but the Dominion lever point doesn’t wander in and out as much. I like the Dominions better. The stupid Maven levers are slick like ice. Actually had my finger slip off on a steep turn and broke my face something good. I had to put grip tape on the levers. Looking forward to putting the Dominions on this newer bike once I have a chance.

Vital article from a while back at the Chinese bike show this year. Chatted with my local shop in regards to WR1 and they aren’t doing frame replacements unless catastrophic failure. Frames are being sent to a company in Vancouver for carbon repair. Molds apparently are being sold to Sava Cycles and they will be flying the bikes under them and not WR1. Below pictured is the proto dh WR1 but now Sava will be bringing it to production in the distant future.

From a commenter on PB: “ Everyone needs the hear the facts. Markus flossman is an egotistical freak and scammer. After insolvency there was a handshake deal for YT USA to purchase exclusive brand rights and be independently operated. Truth is Markus couldn’t stand the idea of US branch not being under his control. Continued to shoot over shitty deals, 1 year contracts, and insane royalty payments. We as a staff chose not to sign up for a shitty deal that would ultimately kill us anyways. Everyone thinks private equity killed this brand. That’s wrong. Markus single handedly killed YT...

The assertion that e-bikes decrease fitness is widespread. On the surface, the reasoning appears sound: riders often feel like they have expended more energy after a normal ride compared to an e-bike ride. Therefore, normal bikes must provide superior fitness benefits, right? Not quite. This surface-level analysis misses several crucial insights about how fitness actually works. Let's start with a simple fact: work done is work done, regardless of the bicycle beneath you. If you maintain the same effort level on an e-bike as you would on a traditional bike, you'll simply travel farther in the same time. In this...

genuine question, how hard is it to get support for intend n NA? either full service or parts for DIY? It always scared me off of niche Euro based product. I've been more likely to consider Push, simply because they are this side of the ocean.

Curious... Im on the opposite case.. vorsprung recommendation was a way lower spring rate than what I was using, on a spire.... and it's also the case on my Madonna V3 now.. Ihad lots of back and forth with them on this.. the most important setup difference though was rebound... I think I drifted towards slowish the past 2-3 years.. and the Telum setup with faster reb , lower spring rate and more compression is an eye opening experience.. I did force the turns on the valving to be able to use the rebound at the reommended setting but with...

Great to hear! The new back end is actually being tested this week by new team riders in a secret location...This picture was taken last week at the Belgian Cycling Factory, this is Dale McMullen (Nukeproof Lead Engineer) and Steve Jamison (Nukeproof Product Manager) discussing the new back end with a new rider (you can just see his foot)!

The twins splitting is something I've actually heard before. Surprising but if the offers are there, then why not eh? On another note, here are some photos of a few of the "park" features on the Korea track. Frank Pardal says he'll be doing a track preview Wednesday!

Loic has made some posts on socials. Short version was that he was in the medic tent for the podium, straight to the hospital and stayed the night. Caught the first flight he could back home and made it in time for the birth of his son. Congrats papa.

@matvaillancourt1 posted this photo in 2025 team rumors thread. "spotted in MSA" - is it real? with teams having to be selected in the next month, stands to reason they'd get photoshoots done in MSA before everyone goes home.

Another thing that may help give Loic the benefit of the doubt for skipping the ceremonies is if he wanted to seek medical treatment asap so he could make it back in time to see his baby born. perhaps he had his flight already booked and may needed to have made a choice b/w showing up at the podium vs...

Wow that was disappointing to read just getting home from Mt Hi. Not even the sad bit of Loic getting injured but the baseless speculation and weirdness from this forum lol. It's fcukin MSA not Andorra... If he's hurt to the level where he knows he can't put in a run to beat Jacko, he absolutely shouldn't take a run down any of those rock gardens for 'professionalism'. If he had to try to B line any rock garden he would be DQ'd for riding out of the poles anyway. It's not even a 'smart' decision from Bruni it's arguably...
