Not sure if this has been posted but got a picture of the bottom of the Brosnan's Boxxer at the US Open. I assume this is what's on the Zebb too.

I was like „why is he skeptical about suspension on gravel bikes and has an enduro fork on it at the same time“ then it clicked

I feel I fall into the majority there.. I ride my gravel bike like a road bike that allows for more options. Mine is set-up more along the lines of what some now call an all-road bike. 2x drivetrain and 38s let me do some fun dirt and still roll decently on the pavement. I'm not sure how I feel about suspension and gravel.. Maybe if I was racing or doing longer rougher dirt rides, I might want it, but I'm in the camp of if I feel I need suspension, I have a mountain bike..

I don't know if Laurie Greenland's contract is up but I think people are assuming he might be let go as he's perceived to of been having a bad season which I'm not sure he has , or at least not as bad as the results might suggest. He had an old school podium at Leogang I think and has had a fair bit of bad luck in finals and is coming off the back of health issues . He's a world cup winner and still relatively young and has shown he has pace when everything goes right for him...

Just a buncha butthurt Yankees in here. Finding it hard to celebrate a young Canuck on top of the game. The irony is that if Jackson were American, those same butt hurt yanks would be being obnoxiously chanting ooo-rah USA! USA! with hand guns blasting in the air

So I’m on the “hard to root for Jackson” team. Not because of his winning streak, and definitely not because of his talent—on the contrary, his riding style and speed are incredible. I just don’t vibe with the loud jocks who feel the need to push themselves into the spotlight at every opportunity. I always found Gracia super annoying, think BK is cringe, and Thanee also gets on my nerves. Meanwhile, the more reserved riders like Vouilloz, Chausson, or Sam Hill—who were just as talented and fast in their time—I find extremely likable. That’s also why I get along better...

Frankly no I don’t think even Bruni was groomed to the same level as Jackson. Jackson was putting out edits with the likes of Stevie Smith since he was 10 years old. He probably doesn’t even remember a time in his life when he wasn’t a sponsored athlete. If you go back and watch any of the early Lapierre team videos you can see young Bruni was completely star struck as a junior. He couldn’t believe he was on a team with his idol Blenkinsopp. Very different vibe to Jackson. As for finish line celebrations, nobody wants to see bitter...

I know it’s highly unfashionable to agree with @bizutch but I know exactly what you mean. Trying a little too hard to look “stoked” for the guy that just beat him.

On the Downtime pod they were saying that for a practice day at worlds, Amaury was following Max and getting his lines, and having to push to keep up. The biggest name on one of the biggest teams following a junior is definitely a sign of what's to come when they get to elites. Those juniors are insane.

So, I have 0 insider information, just pure speculation. If points stay with the team this year, and it's calculated in October, could there be a situation where a team signs a former/current YT rider to a contract this year and capture their points? I don't remember reading anything in the UCI about a cumulative rolling calculation of team points. Just a snapshot at the end of the year. I know UCI contracts in road have language around if a rider isn't paid they they are immediately released from their contract a free to sign with another team. Would be...
