12/4/2025 10:36am From what I’ve seen of Winrock, looks like a cool bike park but don’t think it’s Hardline worthy. Jackson Goldstone mentioned earlier this season he had the perfect track for a Hardline event around the Squamish BC area.

11/29/2025 1:14pm The hard part not noticing the difference between different levels of Maven is that SRAM’s build quality and consistency is so bad it’s difficult to know what you’re actually comparing.

11/18/2025 12:13am You got a new frame every year sometimes sooner so you probably never had to even think about frame bearings going bad. No shade! I've done the same for the past 8 years and never once thought about changing bearings. (including 2 Ripmos and a Stumpy Evo with 3,000mi on it). Does worrying about bearings come from trauma of old Santa Cruz's eating them?

11/15/2025 12:21pm Wait wait wait. Youre wanting to pay top dollar for a Santa Cruz labeled frame that is just a crab link bike that probably already exists by another company? To each their own I guess.

11/13/2025 10:34am If anything there is a point where on really steep stuff where it can pitch you forward a bit more, if your fork setup is marginal and you're going slow. But that's really steep, slow stuff that's full of steps, that most people don't ride regularly, if at all. And is exactly why everybody in arizona rides a bike with itty bitty chainstays and an air fork with 4 tokens in it, lol . The time it takes to retrain from shifting forward and driving corners with your hips/shoulders to staying in the middle and driving with your hips/legs can...

11/7/2025 12:44am Isn't the general consensus that Dominions are a smidge more powerful than Codes, but not at the level of the new, powerful stuff?

11/7/2025 12:34am Aston and Cahal have their quirks but calling them mediocre riders is complete BS. Both of those guys rip. Also 435 chainstay on a modern XL mtb is a joke IMO. Especially for a frame that costs $4k.

11/4/2025 2:27pm Raaw - their design ethos and reliability seem to be about as high or higher than anyone else at a reasonable price point. Now if they can get the new yalla dropouts on the madonna I would get one. Good geo, good adjustments, good kinematics and crab. Frameworks - Everything above minus price point abd adjustment but a cool race program Forbidden - Similar to the above brands but a bit more of an over complicated crab system on the analog bikes. I was a bit disappointed when I saw there ebike didn't have the adjustable dropouts but I think...

11/2/2025 8:58am Anyone had any warranty issues with 70/90 parts? Just got a new bike w/ 70 derailleur/shifter in the shop. If the shifting works in the harder gears it wants to throw the chain over the largest cog occasionally. SRAM is sending a replacement derailleur, but maybe it could be the shifter, too much cable throw in certain gears. If only there was a way to limit the derailleur travel, say with a small screw, in case things weren't operating perfectly. Oh well, maybe in version 3 or 4.

11/2/2025 8:34am ya, strange one if true. PFR should have been rebranded BK Lifestyle Racing a long time ago, as it seems the primary reason Bernard runs that team is to fund his own preferred lifestyle. A guy who's so close to consistent top 10s like Maples needs better I feel.
