On a positive note I just watched the Sleeper shredit from Snowshow and oh boy am I hyped for downhill racing! If you're not into paying Chris Ball 20 quid a year that's fine. Between Sleeper, Lawlor, Cathro, Wyn, Moimoi and Eddie you won't miss a beat. The racing this year has been the best of all time and all the best coverage is free. What a cool sport to watch and what a cool industry that supports these amazing video guys to be at the races. I'm off to watch it again.

Ooooh I don't think the finished to market bike will honestly look anything like this. I got a Hunch they are doing what Intense did with that mega rocker bike from last year. This Current mule from specialized is just providing answers for specialized I reckon . At best the chainstay will be what sticks around as it's tuneable flex but there is just no way that linkage is gonna hang out like an old man's nuts on the final design. ​​​​

I think the real reason for this is 'it's easier to use an existing fork than machine our own fixed legs'. This setup seems like it would be harder to tune and more unpredictable to ride, because you never know which spring will be compressing, and what the axle path will be doing.

With all the tire debate going on, anyone noticed Bruni running Argotal's? Can't understand why as Specialized have a similar tire that is supposed to be real good.

Any part of the suspension moving in this case would require the links to be very elastic. As the bikes sits in this picture it's probably overextended and gives a feeling of the upper two links being on the verge of the unstable point (where the rocker can rotate either up or down). A few things I don't think there was that much to hide to be honest we all knew, well most of us knew it was a modern version of some Italian bikes such as DM and Ancillotti from the early to mid 90's I think maybe its more the shock they have been hiding and not the frame, this seems a bit of a set up with the bike being photographed on the edge of the van and inside the van, its not like anyone was hiding it.
