10/4/2023 10:55pm I think you should know something : Samwell is the team manager of dorval. So I think he knows a thing or two about downhill racing. And Patrice afflalet (Scott team manager) says pretty much the same thing on a french forum.

10/4/2023 10:53pm It is a flat track, and you are allowed to think that this is not what is good for the sport you are at the top of, no ? If you go extreme, why not add the sea otter to a world cup, it is still downhill in the end. Yet it is not what I or Loris think downhill should be. Some guys might even like Sea otter track, it doesn't make it a good downhill track. And this season Bruni is the fastest on all the flat sectors, so he doesn't need straight ski slopes, he needs flat...

10/4/2023 10:48pm Dear GCN+/Discovery/WB please stop the drone footage. It is not good. Use it once for a reference of the track. Stop please. It is terrible.

10/4/2023 11:32am Ooooh I don't think the finished to market bike will honestly look anything like this. I got a Hunch they are doing what Intense did with that mega rocker bike from last year. This Current mule from specialized is just providing answers for specialized I reckon . At best the chainstay will be what sticks around as it's tuneable flex but there is just no way that linkage is gonna hang out like an old man's nuts on the final design.

10/4/2023 11:30am I think the real reason for this is 'it's easier to use an existing fork than machine our own fixed legs'. This setup seems like it would be harder to tune and more unpredictable to ride, because you never know which spring will be compressing, and what the axle path will be doing.

10/4/2023 11:30am With all the tire debate going on, anyone noticed Bruni running Argotal's? Can't understand why as Specialized have a similar tire that is supposed to be real good.

10/4/2023 11:29am Any part of the suspension moving in this case would require the links to be very elastic. As the bikes sits in this picture it's probably overextended and gives a feeling of the upper two links being on the verge of the unstable point (where the rocker can rotate either up or down). In practice (as has been mentioned by others) this is not the issue. Even with the shock removed all is fine and the axle path is fully defined. This axle path definition is the reasoning I use to define the number of pivots a bike has -...

10/4/2023 11:21am A few things I don't think there was that much to hide to be honest we all knew, well most of us knew it was a modern version of some Italian bikes such as DM and Ancillotti from the early to mid 90's I think maybe its more the shock they have been hiding and not the frame, this seems a bit of a set up with the bike being photographed on the edge of the van and inside the van, its not like anyone was hiding it. Lastly if it is super secret and this is a leak its...

10/3/2023 11:08am Yea, I was speaking towards the casing/sidewall prototype. But I actually raced both of them, I swapped halfway through the day. The Mudslayer(not the actual name) was also super good.
