It's hard to believe the amount of flex this frame has in intentional.Looks way too much imho .

Obviously a bike like this should go down super fast and secure, but what i dont get is how a 36lbs bike with a simple suspension design (no crazy antisquat numbers) and what looks to be a slack(ish) st angle climbs anywhere near as well as reported here.Sorry but something doesn't adds up...

The bike has been leaked a long time ago on pb's forum and other places...looks nice but definitely less original than the current bike.

I believe that if it really was the case,SC (or any other brand for that matter) wouldn't have invested so much in the media build kits. Removing the carbon wheels alone and putting a more "generic" heavy wheelsets would have affected much on the feel of the bike.
I would love to read a review on this bike with a more "down to earth" build.

Wow, a 9000+ usd bike that feels good , what a surprise ! SC sure know the marketing game offering the press super high end builds.
I always wonder how will the reviews would look with lower end builds which are much more relevant to most readers.

I believe there was a trek session 29 proto that was raced a year or so ago.

Interesting he is using a coil shock 150 (ish) bike and not the "full enduro" Slayer ...

It looks like the new Tracer .A bit strange that it uses an external lower cup headset with what looks to be a pretty tall ht ...

2 years ? the new bike is already in carbon form for at least 3-4 months now. i dont see them investing in the molds and waiting that much time for the release .

ive checked more into this subject and it looks like there is a real problem with this frame running 150 posts ! for you as a tester , if thats really the case, do you say its a real issue or a non issue ? im asking as for me with my long inseam its a real turn off.

125mm dropper on a bike like this is a bit lame. the real issue however is it doesnt seem like a spec "glitch" (im sure Trek's product managers know their job). some riders note that the seat tube is actually too short to fit a 150 (not to mention 170) posts for an avg size rider. can you give your input on this ? as if its true its a real issue imo.

From all the online reviews it seems this linkage is the real deal and works very well .however, imho there is no way in the world that a bike that looks like this and cost that much will ever be a hit in the sales department. 2600 usd for an alu frame with a basic shock is just crazy (!!) and either Mr Berthold find a designer or sell his linkage to a brand that can design a cleaner looking frame.
