gbcoke Added a comment about feature Push Nine One Inverted Fork Review, Part 1

Had an Podium, very nice fork ! works well and inspires alot of confindence. However after leaking from pretty much the start (even after seal replacment) I switched to the 9.1. Oh boy, what a fork !!! The quality of the suspension you get is on another level and the bottom out chamber and ramp change allows alot of control ! It's not that the Podium isn't good,it's great, It just feels like a more "generic" product. The 9.1 feels more special ,more refind and higher quality.Add to the fact that it's made in the US and has easy servicing...

Kellys are using common 21700 cells but invested alot in the case which is made of carbon. Rotwild, which has a 250w/kg battery, also did the same with carbon for the case. There are alot of promises about new cell tech and ss batteries but not alot of actual products available. One promising company that seems to have a product that...
Business/Strategy related question : Analog bikes are less and less in demand today, especially in Europe (but more and more in the US as well). What is the thought process of bringing out a new Analog bike and not an Ebike in today's market ? An updated Epocalypse with an Avinox system (or similar) would have sold like horcakes... The...

As ebike take more (and more) market share, their development will be the main thing for most bike brands. Choosing the e-system is a lot of the times more important for sales than suspension kinematics or a dialed geo. Dji has pointed the direction in terms of performance and form factor and the rest will have to follow. Already today...

First they missed out with the bike itself being heavy & fat with no LT version and no real innovation. Than they one up themselves with a "look how expensive we are" build that goes against all customer resent to high prices and general crap financial situation the industry is going through. Nice one Spec !

Bosch does not allow third party batteries so it is probably a 600w. Weird that bikes that come with Bosch looks a bit outdated after you see the form factor of DJI equipped bikes.

Anyone know if YT has secured some sort of funding / investment for their future ? It's been a while since their announcement, they are taking order for their new ebike which shows availability later this month, but no official word yet the subject...

Why bother with it ? Seems like the only thing DT are doing here is adding weight . Not sure the only solution to a strong rim is making it 700g +- !! Toughest rim I experienced is the Duke racing Fury Star HD . Very strong and doesnt dent easily . Also know happy riders with the Chromag and...

Considering market issues, it's very smart to have one frame serve multiple disciplines... Lapierre also did that with the Spicy if I remember correctly.

Seems like way less traction than anticipated with only Rotwild,Moustach,Simplon,Haibike and Nicolai ? Haven't ridden it yet but from all reviews I've seen it seems a bit unrefined atm. I believe we will have to wait for some of the real big players offerings (Porsche,Bosch,Shimano,Dji...)

Feel real sorry about NS with this one as the bike looks really good imo but it seems no one really wants to but a Fazua equipped bike these days...
