I dig it. If you want the bike in any color grab a rattle can, tape, and sandpaper from your local hardware store. Paint job should be the last reason to not want a bike.

3/22/2026 8:55am The Trek Fuel MX has been a great trail bike for me. Vanilla Core simple with good numbers, part spec and respectable price. Does everything well and nothing terribly. It seems like a bike that you could be happy with anywhere.

3/16/2026 6:48am I’ve installed the kit into a new hub. The quality and execution is what you’d expect from DT and reflect the price. The only complaint I have is that comparing it to an O-Chain with the soft elastomer stop, the DF thuds rather aggressively.

11/11/2025 7:50am To be fair, I also didn’t finish the JKW video, his stuff isn’t for me. Like you I just watched until I got the information I wanted. In full disclosure I have a podium and find the ride quality amazing. The only issue I’ve had is that I now want more performance out of my rear shock.

Having done the race 24 and had a great time I was curious how the route finding was. I like following the ribbon and don’t like taking out my phone to see what was going on. I also don’t love English breakfast and was wondering if the tour provided a more delicious and perhaps French/Italian culinary experience. Lastly, for the race my tent smelled like my wet, never drying shoes. How is the accommodation on the tour? Thanks

Pretty harsh to call those companies 'blemishes'. I for one would support those companies just because they support Neko and the team. 5Dev seems to have supported Neko on many, many frame parts, aside from cranks. That development alone is very valuable. Specialized supports so many racing projects and cool stuff too. To call one of the more technically advanced companies a blemish is just beyond me, especially when Specialized supports a lot of privateers, their own factory team, this team and Rooted/others that are trying to make it. This is the best Vital content in years. An all-star cast that shred and don’t take it too serious, along with a nicely selected group of bikes. Great insight on each bike along with the industry in general. A+ footage is just the bonus. Thanks for the hard/fun work.
