I've been on the Dissector 29 x 2.4 maxxterra EXO version for about 10 rides so far this spring. It grips pretty well, rolls pretty fast, and is holding up OK. I like the 2.4 WT casing width. Hopefully the price comes down a bit to bring it in line with some of Maxxis' other offerings which can be had for $10-20 less. I wish they made the Aggressor in a 2.4WT. Only other 2.4WT is the DHR I think.

The Runt works quite well and does what Diaz says it does. It is a great value and a sweet upgrade that goes into your fork in about 5 minutes. I agree with the race vid analysis. BT pulls ahead of himself with just a few extra pedal strokes and doesn't get the 2 seconds back during the rest of the run. This highlights perhaps the most important thing in enduro and pedally DH racing, that putting down power is the easiest place to make time. Agree. Longer travel enduro bike with fast tires is f u n. Its easy to forget how slow the big meats are on rolling terrain till you ride some fast rollers.

Super fast. Definitely not as grippy as my normal dhr /aggressor set up. But it's fun to feel a nice light tire set up.

cooper webb couldn't try to qualify at a WC unless he had enough UCI points. those are earned by placing well enough at local/regional/national races that offer UCI points. no different to any other mountain bike racer wanting to race WC. their was the loophole a few years ago where you and your crew could pay enough to create a WC team, get licenses and race. changing topics (sort of), i'd love it if there were open qualifiers before world cup DH races. tuesday open practice for punters, weds open qualifiers, top 3 get a chance to qualify with the...

I've learned you can't take Strava seriously. I've seen climbs taken on e-bikes or in cars. There is also a local fast masters racer that uploaded his rides to his wife's account. She took all the ladies QOMs with his data. These incidents were all reported to Strava but nothing was done about it.

This looks cool. I am very curious as to how they are gonna catch the cheaters who hot rod their motors. Even a few extra watts could make a difference in this format with the climbing stages.

How does the shifter and derailleur work with an XO1 cassette is what I'd really like to know. If your SRAM Eagle drivetrain isn't shifting well try 2 things. First, set the B tension screw per spec. Use the plastic SRAM tool and its quite easy to get it right. Still not super crisp? Try a Shimano SP41 housing and a coated cable. With these two things and proper cable tension, SRAM Eagle stuff works really really well, like super crisp. Would I change out a hub for the new Shimano cassette? No way, but I might cross shop a...

Interesting! I've run Code Rs and RSCs on multiple bikes with great success. Love the updated Code stuff. Easy to bleed, easy to find parts & pads, just plain work. (edit: for me)

Weird and expensive. For every enduro sold how much is going to that ridiculous video? On a unit to unit basis, its more than $1. Over produced. Next to no riding. The story sucked. Give me some raw ripping and fun-having. Leave the "I hope I get to produce the next Stranger Things" video reel to your Vimeo page.

Great coverage! This is a crucial message for young racers to hear- race for the love of it and the fun of it, and don't expect anything in return except the satisfaction you get from having a great time. The thrill of racing and pushing our own limits is what its about. Keep your day job. The more you do, the more you can do!

Aggressor 2.5 on a 30mm width rim on my SB150. No issues with rub or flex. 7mm clearance on the drive side chain stay. BT makes it sound like a stiffer rear end may be in the works for the '20 model year bikes though, or perhaps I am reading too much into his comments in the vid? Nice video review. This bike looks wicked.
