Aggressor 2.5 on a 30mm width rim on my SB150. No issues with rub or flex. 7mm clearance on the drive side chain stay. BT makes it sound like a stiffer rear end may be in the works for the '20 model year bikes though, or perhaps I am reading too much into his comments in the vid? Nice video review. This bike looks wicked.

7/2/2019 5:32am From 2016 EWS in Chile. Now go read the list of ingredients on that Alphamine he's about to scoop in that bottle and you'll see higenamine listed. In 2016, when this photo was taken, it was not on the list of specified substances but was added in 2017. You can draw your own conclusion as to how it may or may have not ended up in a water bottle in 2018, and the degree to which that constitutes either willful doping/cheating or negligence of WADA updates resulting in a violation of the rules. Regarding 'specified substances' the UCI has...

7/1/2019 6:15pm Lighten up dudes. Richie got busted, served his penalty, and is back in the game, whatever the back story is. He's a young powerhouse with a long career ahead of him. I'm sure he'll be a lot more careful who's bottle he sips from now. And damn, what a return!?! 4/5 stages won? Very impressive! The only thing missing was Martin Maes to battle it out with. Martin is the same. I think he got hosed but that won't change how this is playing out. He'll serve his penalty and learn from it. Let the young men continue to mature...

6/27/2019 12:40am What should the governing body do? Not be fucking morons and use this as an opportunity to introduce reality into the system. They know damn well Maes wasn't cheating. And they know damn well he wasn't masking his blood. Yet they're STILL imposing penalty. That's a penalty that's supposed to discourage cheating which they already know he was not doing. That's a flaw in the system that they need to remedy. Chucking Mae's season down the drain over it is bullshit. It's really simple..... event doctor's note. Not your personal Ferrari doc, an independent one. No one can predict injuries...

6/26/2019 6:09am So what the hell is a rider meant to do if they get hurt at EWS this weekend? What if they are in a really bad way and need urgent help, are they responsible for getting a TUE, submitted and approved before being given the help the could be considered life threatening? Are they meant to be considered coherent enough at all times to scroll through the list of banned substances to double check a doctors work at the time of injury and probably intense pain? Absolutely mind blowing stupidity on the UCIs part

6/26/2019 6:08am What a pile of BS! Failed first round antibiotics, pus coming out of the wound, treated as indicated for the second round, and he gets a suspension for it. Not all that surprising from UCI, its not like its a road event in Europe or anything. EWS says sorry, out of our hands?!? Cmon guys, you're not looking good right...

6/2/2019 8:27pm That was one of the most exciting WCDH races I've watched in a long while. Gwin's wipeout was wild. Run after very exciting run and Peirron's run was NUTS. You could tell he was really on the hairy edge, full mach chicken, and then almost looses it right across the finish line!?! That was awesome. Rob Warner was in good form on the mic today too, keeping the excitement up.

5/30/2019 6:27am I have a few pairs of Shimano 737's around. Some have been ridden thousands of miles and still function perfectly despite being smashed and having deep gouges all over them. Shimano at its best.

5/22/2019 8:48am thanks for chiming in, aaron. it's crazy this whole ordeal turned into such chaos and wasted time. i woke up this morning to a billion texts and emails about all the drama. when the vid was posted yesterday, i didn't know it was a "leaked" video. i also chalked it up to "world cup riders are gnarly. they do gnarly things. they break stuff," and figured that the rest of the mtb community had the same reasonable way of thinking. i knew some people may comment on the crank break, but the newsworthiness of the video was that you hurt...

5/22/2019 8:48am I shoulda been more descriptive and explained things better in that initial comment so that I'm not having to go back and clarify now. I answered a lot of these same accusations in the other responses I made on that same Instagram post but I'll give ya guys the goods too. I was just frustrated honestly. I had just got a message from the guys at Mountain creek who took the video respectfully telling me that they weren't going to send the video around, which was kind of them. One of the guys had sent it to someone else and...

5/20/2019 3:00pm Damn. I really hope he has not mangled his ankle as that can be a terrible injury that can be very difficult to recover from. A broken crank arm in this day and age? That is a pretty sad display of quality from his crank manufacturer.

5/18/2019 1:46pm Awesome to see some legit DH going on in the USA! It is great to see the stoke among a new generation of downhillers. It takes another level of commitment to race DH these days with all the fun and convenient enduro races around. It was thick and serious back in the day in the USA. Vermont NORBA National? No joke. 2200 vert, 5-6min times, a burly track among the great classics of DH. Have fun out there!
