One of the plaintiffs, Gold Country Trails has two mountainbike groups as affiliates. It's a little more nuanced than 'cowboys' suing the USFS. The wilderness society was already running around with their hair on fire screaming about Ted Stroll/Sustainable Trail Coalition's move to allow bike access in future wilderness decisions, with one of their key points being the existence of e-bikes. Just because lawsuits happen regularly doesn't diminish the fact that they will be used to decide where people ride bikes. They already are.

So the BACK COUNTRY HORSEMEN OF AMERICA are suing the UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE for allow eMTB class-1 on 132 miles of non-motorized trails. One of their key points is safety do to speed of a eMTB (Max 20mph), shit a horse with a human on it's back can reach speeds of 40mph, just another joke of a lawsuit.

6/26/2019 9:45am What should the governing body do? Not be fucking morons and use this as an opportunity to introduce reality into the system. They know damn well Maes wasn't cheating. And they know damn well he wasn't masking his blood. Yet they're STILL imposing penalty. That's a penalty that's supposed to discourage cheating which they already know he was not doing...
