Born last year, the COMMENCAL 100% Team returns in 2019 with new and improved ambitions!
The bit of a bold gamble was taken in 2018 with this new team structure but the efforts of staff and riders over the past year have been fruitful.

Between them, the COMMENCAL 100% Team was able to achieve 3 Elite World Cup podiums and going forward, these excellent performances on national and international circuits mean we have high hopes for positive results in 2019.

There’s already a healthy foundation to the team with Thomas Estaque and Bruce Klein, who will welcome two new promising riders on-board.
First up is Hugo Frixtalon, aka FRIX-FRIX, who you may have already seen riding a COMMENCAL as a WC privateer in 2018.
His style and potential quickly grabbed the attention of the team who didn’t hesitate to snap him up.

Antoine Rogge is the other rookie who will ride in the Junior category.
Surrounded by his new teammates, we believe he has all the necessary help and support to progress and a have a productive season.

For 2019, this is a really young team with an average age of 19! All 4 members will race the COMMENCAL SUPREME DH 29.
After a full winter of training the guys gathered in Lousã, Portugal, to take part in their first testing sessions, get their settings dialled and reveal their new colours to the fans!

So sick. And Juzzo on the podium! I also remember Fabien was fresh off of injury recovery(as usual) and would have been happy with a top 20 or something...lol

Was the first World Cup I saw live (Freecaster?) and was blown away by the footage from the bottom of the rock garden. Been hooked since!

I've always been a fan of Mio Suemasa. Usually the smallest woman and longest traveled. It's cool to see she got 5th there.

@sspomer Rock garden is still part of the track. Anyway there will be plenty of footage from track in the following days as IXS euro cup race is being held this weekend and the competition is stacked because pretty much all major teams will be there.

Give him a chance. He's a Brit, and they voted Brexit. Perhaps he flew in to the mainland and took a boat to the island?

social stuff from the iXS cup is finally landing. it's basically the first world cup (but that's an entirely different subject about sucking the life out of the actual first world cup by having an identical race the weekend before).

This is crazy, I was thinking this morning that the 1st world cup really snuck up on me! I was about to set my DH fantasy team and then came here and realized it was an IXS race Huh

They should tape sections completely different so all of the lines that burn in for this race aren't the real lines come world cup time
