Fox Added a comment about feature Single Crown vs Dual Crown Fork: Which One is the Best for Enduro?
9/28/2020 7:06pm Dave seems to really dig the Mezzer. Anyone else care to comment on that? Dave. thanks for taking the time to make this vid and keep it honest and insightful. It was a blast to watch and truly had me laughing out loud, especially the Giro coach consultation. As an aging masters racer am I gonna go out and get myself a custom dual crown? Not likely. I'll run what I brung and hope a few extra intervals will make up the difference, because it sounds like it's pretty close at this point! Cheers!

Fox Added a reply to Evolution of MTBs
9/8/2020 1:16am Like many of the other posters, I've been through a lot of evolution since my first whip, an '88 Rockhopper. It would seem we've gotten to a plateau in development. But don't be fooled. Things will keep changing and "improving." Will it become a situation like the automotive world, where electronic intervention has supposedly made things better, yet there is...

9/7/2020 3:50pm Actually, I went to the Fox 40 on my enduro rig. A push coil shock and the big fork and I’m still under 30lbs, 29.9 to be exact

BHowell Liked a product review We Ride the Not-So-Secret 2021 Trek Slash (and love it)

Intro Look here Trek Slash, it's not me, it's you. I just don't have a place in my life for a 160/170mm-travel 29er. Who does? A 469mm reach on an M/L size? That's a bit much for my 5'9" frame, and how is that really a size? Wait, you're saying there's more to you than reach and travel numbers? Ok, I'll listen. After all, a mind is like a parachute. Steeper seat angle, slacker head angle, integrated tools, and storage, I like all these features. Do go on... Strengths From rough to buff, it masters all trails Comfortable pedaling position...

7/2/2020 4:04am I say this as someone who literally lives in bentonville. It’s truly sweet, it is as awesome as it’s made out to be, the general surrounding area is something super special riding wise, but I do think “world” is pretty cheesy. It ain’t Whistler. What it is in it’s defense is someplace you can move to because of riding, it be a responsible choice, still make a solid living, and bring the family along too. That is a little more rare.

7/2/2020 4:03am no doubt the trails there look extremely fun and access to/from town is handy. everyone we've talked to says the place is a blast to ride. capital of the world though? IMO, there's no place that could or should be able to claim such a title. the city and trails look like they have great mass-market appeal, which is good for the sport. like mentioned above (in so many words by studbeefpile), the element of adventure or wilderness, that many consider the essence of mountain biking, is not on par with big mountain destinations. while i'm not a super adventure...

7/2/2020 4:02am Our sport is in such a great/weird spot right now. Huge influx of new riders is great. More money coming in is great. More trails are being built, awesome. But at the same these new trail systems are the most BORING thing ever to ride. And people think these trails are the pinnacle of MTB.

6/30/2020 6:45pm Been waiting years to see Transition’s proper take on an XC bike. Not disappointed. wouldn’t want it as my only bike for the trails I ride, but I’d love to have this in the garage!

I've been on the Dissector 29 x 2.4 maxxterra EXO version for about 10 rides so far this spring. It grips pretty well, rolls pretty fast, and is holding up OK. I like the 2.4 WT casing width. Hopefully the price comes down a bit to bring it in line with some of Maxxis' other offerings which can be had for $10-20 less. I wish they made the Aggressor in a 2.4WT. Only other 2.4WT is the DHR I think.
