I'd bet it's SRAM no doubt putting their twist on another Vorsprung product (Secus) Why innovate when you can copy a small manufacturers homework.

Just a reminder that the actual conspiracy is SRAM selling heavily discounted electronic groupsets to component integrato... I mean "bike brands" knowing that consumers will be on the hook for their shitty, high margin proprietary batteries and chargers. Nothing says improving the environment and sustainability like planned obsolescence and more e-waste. Social Responsibility btw: https://www.sram.com/en/company/about/social-responsibility

I’m glad the the UCI have spent the time and effort to investigate this and make their judgement. I’ve notice on IG, FB and PB there are a lot of guys getting upset about this and I feel that this says a lot about them. This has been an investigation that’s taken months since the accusation and they’ve kept his name out of the media until now. So it shows that they were taking it seriously. Hopefully the replies on here will be better than on the others.

Full statement from the UCI regarding the suspension of Edgar Carballo Gonzalez for alleged sexual harassment, followed by a statement from Mondraker: ----------------------------------------------------- The UCI Ethics Commission issues a decision concerning Mr Edgar Carballo Gonzalez The Union Cycliste Internationale’s (UCI) Ethics Commission – a body acting independently of the International Federation’s administration – announces its decision in the case involving Mr Edgar Carballo Gonzalez, a Spanish downhill and enduro mountain bike rider. Did you just decide to neglect the 13.9kg bike in your argument? Not to mention all the sub 15kg options - that’s how much bikes weigh now man. If you want a lighter one you can put a 1x10 groupset on it, and a rigid post, maybe even 27.5 front and rear.. it might be sub 13 by then.. but I Dont think you’ll do that.

That's just hilarious. Maybe their marketing intern took inspiration from the off roading world🤣 I used to have a Raptor that had dual shocks at all four corners (not mine in the image, but you get the idea)

I started paying attention to geo about ten years ago. For a while there every enduro bike release was trying to update to get closer to the Giant Reign of 2015 without anyone really saying so. That was in the everything needs to be longer, lower and slacker days. Couple of outliers came along, Pole and Geometron being the ones I remember. For the most part, seated cockpit sizes still haven’t recovered. 645mm ett used to be large territory, now that’s an xl in a lot of brands. If you want that 78-80° seat tube, you need a 530-540 reach...

Posted by noideamtber:
chainstay length itself is also the distance between rear axle and pivot point - this is why the actual length matters so much, that pivot could be infront of the BB or behind it. which has quite a role in anti squat, leverage of the stay etc - it also directly relates to where the BB ends up.
That's nonsense though, and nobody else I've ever talked to considers that word to mean that. There's no way to define that length for a virtual pivot bike in a way that makes sense unless you want...

1) I think you're at the exact peak of the Dunning Kruger graph here. 2) That was a hint to get this discussion out of this thread.

It's OK you dont understand how a longer lever creates more leverage, You may have forgotten from the early school days. If you've never put the Pivot location quite far infront of the BB in linkage, i suggest you do, then try it low and behind the BB. the differences are quite difference Saying you dont understand that is also saying you dont understand that high pivots places the pivot HIGHER.... Im trying to condense a long Sentence to short for the sake of the ADHD People here Smile This is basic Stuff dude... maybe i need to dumb it...

Looking at the Sentinel, adding 20mm of stack via stem spacers shortens the reach by 10mm - effectively putting the handlebar position in the same spot it would be on the Titan... Also, being able to get about a 15mm longer chainstay on the Titan makes a big difference to f/r balance meaning you don't need to ride over the front as much. This makes the bike fit 'bigger' - at least looking at it from standing over the bike. Seated position would be another ballgame.

Especially if they have told all customers outside of America they will not fulfill their order, nor issue a refund. You don’t do that if your planning on continuing to do business in the future

I hate to make funny of a crappy situataion for everyone at YT but I had to LOL at the "severely impacted by the global discounting battle in the bike industry" line - they were literally one of the first and most aggressive brands to offer high spec bikes at crazy prices. So its no surprise they are now one of the first of those to be struggling

I am not upset about the weight and nowhere was I complaining. I simply stated what I built and the weight. It’s about 2 lbs heavier than the carbon frames, that’s what the conversation topic was about.
