1/11/2025 6:19am Aaron just bought into Crestline bikes. Don't think he's going back to race for Trek at this point. Also, Gwin would still want/command a large salary given his recent lack of results and Trek is clearly cutting costs where ever it can with it's race teams. So double no.

12/31/2024 8:54pm 100% You know what else is not covered like f1...tons of sports. And they are doing fine. For unknown reasons, probably because he claims he invented it, Ball thought enduro needed to be covered like DH. It didn’t. But by saying it, he started looking for a solution to a problem that didn't exist. As a result, beget a problem. You know what us doing just fine, marathon racing. You know what it's not doing, trying to be F1.

12/31/2024 7:38pm Our local Enduro scene is doing great. 12 rounds in 2024 and race registration is only for the month before each race. Part of what I thought was weird about EWS is it had this weird reputation of being a series for retired downhill racers. That doesn’t sound very enticing from a sponsorship or big money coverage perspective. I find it wild that they don’t have a dozen GoPros or whatever to hand out at each stage that get turned in at the end of each stage and swap cards and batteries for the next racer and stage.

12/31/2024 4:46pm Sustainable is a broad term. Sustainable from a money perspective? Probably not. Sustainable from a participation standpoint, absolutely. Its barrier of entry from a gear and fitness standpoint is arguably lower than any other form of bike racing. Who says timing your buddies in the woods doesn’t count as enduro? Will it get you UCI point? Hell no, but that’s...

12/31/2024 4:39pm Enduro isn’t dead, the televised stuff only is and that’s ok. It’s not as spectator friendly as DH is. On local levels around here enduro is what people commonly race and ride. I’ve never been interested in racing it myself but I think enduro is a great grassroot format especially people who aren’t living somewhere with an active local DH series. Let it stay small series. We got some wildly good long travel trail bikes as a result of it atleast.

12/31/2024 4:50am I understand what enduro is, I've been racing in its very enjoyable format for 10 years all across Canada. And the downvotes on your posts are likely because of the attitude you've so far been presenting your suggestions in. With that said, looking at it from a production stand point only and leaving the specifics of the racing format out of it, your suggestion above doesn't help the race starting to space out and become a long slog of racers spread over a course, even with the up's timed, other than just one single time for the event which makes...

12/30/2024 6:51pm Enduro doesn’t need investment from governing bodies. Nor governing bodies at all, just people with bikes who want to ride a bunch of sick trails with timers. Enduro is a mindset, professional enduro is dead but it was doomed from the start.

12/30/2024 4:24pm Enduro is not dead. World Cup enduro is dead, enduro was and always will be for the common folk like us.

12/12/2024 6:14am When you order it, it does actually come tuned for you already. But since a lot of people love tinkering with their setups, we figured we'd try to make it easier rather than obstruct their efforts.

12/12/2024 6:14am Having spent a good long while on the Telum on my Dreadnought v2 all I can say is that it's everything I'd expect it to be and more. Honestly for how well built, thought out, and amazing this shock is I am honestly impressed it doesn't cost more. Between the shock, the tune hub and just Vorsprung's ethos to customer care and service, I can that it's been worth every cent I've paid for it. Also, Steve and the team at Vorsprung are just solid humans. I ended up having a couple needs on the shock taken care of during...

11/2/2024 5:20pm Interesting the reviewer felt the plastics were "silly" and doubled down on only a 5-year old thought they were "cool". This especially when OEM's put rubber bumpers of all kinds all over their bikes which are, for the most part, not easily replaceable. The plastic pieces can be replaced/re-freshened in seconds w/o surface prep, residue removal, etc. And they add a degree of impact protection that no clear stick-on protector kit can. Personally, I think it's one of the better features of the bike. Especially if, as someone who works on bikes, it would allow for cables and hoses to...

9/23/2024 6:45pm It works as advertised for the most part. There are still scenarios where pedal kickback can be encountered, but they should be pretty rare. Let's consider the current generation Nomad for an example. The suspension has to compress about 80mm to get 18 degrees of pedal kickback. Because you are always guaranteed the same amount of slack in the hub, on any compression smaller than this it does make pedal kickback impossible to encounter. If you are compressing your suspension more than 80mm, it then becomes a question of how fast is the shock moving when you hit the 80mm...
