The shock bolts were bending not because of the stiffness of the frame (or lack thereof), but because of their thickness and the loads applied to them. They were bent into a banana.

Doesn't neko run fox? The frame posted from the Euro cup is running rockshox so possibly someone else making a similar frame, as the braces around the headtube look different aswell.

I think the pole looks great. Bb is a bit high but thatd allow me to mullet it quite ez. Have to give props to pole for the quick swap to a bosch system in mid developement too. Id consider one if the first year bikes hold up and a few good support stories

The bike is tilted slightly left: you can see his crank between the fork and tyre, and saddle next to the forks. Rear wheel is a bit of a mistery although you can kind of see something behind his shoulder.

Ah, seeing the video changes things... Far from anything shearing. If it broke, it must have had a tube buckle from a direct impact. Assumption is the mother of all f ups.

That might be interesting at least. Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I loved the OG LG1 for going down, I found it held off camber lines like nothing else I've ridden before or since, especially in the wet. That being said it rolled like it had wet glue on it if you weren't at sendy speeds and climbed like a tractor with a blown head gasket.

Seems like we're at the point where DH bikes (frame companies) might need to come up with their own under-belly protection... more like a dirt bike or something where you've got a symmetric skid pan under the bb/chain area. Run the heavy skidpan setup if you need it (WC DH). Otherwise keep the ISCG05 if you want lighter more minimal protection. Longer/lower/slacker all hurt ground clearance and breakover angle... It's asking a lot of 3x M4 bolts to keep the driveline protected at 30mph.

FSA has reducer races for that. 1.8 bearing to 1.5 steerer. Reach out to them. Designed for their headset but might work with others. But they definitely make them.
