Seems like we're at the point where DH bikes (frame companies) might need to come up with their own under-belly protection... more like a dirt bike or something where you've got a symmetric skid pan under the bb/chain area. Run the heavy skidpan setup if you need it (WC DH). Otherwise keep the ISCG05 if you want lighter more minimal protection. Longer/lower/slacker all hurt ground clearance and breakover angle... It's asking a lot of 3x M4 bolts to keep the driveline protected at 30mph.

FSA has reducer races for that. 1.8 bearing to 1.5 steerer. Reach out to them. Designed for their headset but might work with others. But they definitely make them.

The Classified Powershift is a wireless two-speed rear hub that connects either to your electronic shifter or a separate shift button fitted to the handlebars using Bluetooth. Inside the hub, two gears can be found. The first is a 1:1 ratio, essentially transferring the same gear as if it didn't exist. The second is a 1:0.686 ratio, effectively reducing the size of the front chainring by 31.4 per cent, which in reality would mean a 52T front chainring is accompanied by a 'virtual' chainring of 36T.

Pretty sure this was invented entirely for guys who bought a trust fork and want to double down on degrading their riding experience. Luckily for neken those type of guys ride in packs and have money to spend.

I could see beneficial uses for the stem in a gravel bike or touring application and maybe at a stretch even marathon racing on MTB where reducing very high frequency small vibrations might add up.

I think the point made earlier stands. 4 years ago the bike I spend $12k on putting together and customising to my liking over 3 years was stolen. Insurance lapsed, no CCTV, etc. Gone. Did anyone help? No. If I had set up a gofundme page would I have amassed $10k? No. Have I got a bike now, all those years later? No. I appreciate he has given something to the community, but really?
