11/18/2025 5:11am I have 2 - a HD6 that'll be 2 years old next month and a Ripley V5 that's a year and 3 months old. I'm not sure I get your comment?

11/17/2025 10:44am Speaking from experience, YT has a tall order ahead of them to ensure smooth continuity of operations with suppliers. Suppliers do not care about the legal differences between "YT" and "Young Talent". Additionally Marcus being the face of the old company and now the new one will further narrow the issue. There are only two paths forward: pay the suppliers in full or walk away from them and work with new suppliers. Option 2 isn't ideal given the size of the industry nor the lead times associated with moving your supply chain.

11/17/2025 7:54am Hard pass. But best of luck to everyone that has a YT or is trying to get refunded or an actual bike that they ordered. Using Flossman as the centerpiece of your comeback press release is a wild marketing move.

11/11/2025 12:26pm Maybe I don’t fully understand what you mean by “ which just narrowly thwarted bankruptcy” but the original The Pros Closet was fully liquidated with all assets sold off and the current incarnation relaunching having purchased the IP. Quoting below from the Bicycle Retailer story. It may be a little semantic but I think the lesson of the original business cratering under the weight of outsized expectations and questionable investment should not be forgotten. “The retailer closed in October after 18 years in business and it assets were assigned to a California ABC (Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors) organization...

11/3/2025 9:06am No, they couldn't. They have none of the design or product staff, they own none of the existing designs, carbon moulds, alloy tooling, or physical assets. They don't even own the trademarks or anything to rightfully carry on the business. They can't simply go and order more Jeffsy's from their asian manufacturing partners, without first paying off the (presumably) millions owed to them. So yeah, there was never any realistic shot for them to carry on as a standalone business. I laughed when they said YT USA will carry on, business as usual. Yeah, sure, for how long? And now...

10/29/2025 12:27pm My two cents. I like watching “second tier” riders right along side the pointy end dudes. Especially when you get to see a rider develop over a few seasons. The rider that starts to qualify more regularly, then becomes a top 15-20 dude, then top 10, and finally a podium threat. I like to see this on the same courses as Loic and Jackson, it gives me scale. I love WC racing, I pay to watch. I am not going to suddenly start paying close attention to IXS Cups. I’ll look at the results of a Monster Energy Series race...

10/25/2025 5:22am haha, I bought Dean Lucas wilson from that Era, This was his 2014 worlds bike. I'd like to think Stevie touched it in some way. Cool trivia is this was a mule for the 27.5 bike, proto linkage, coil boxxer world cup. Best bike I ever owned.

10/24/2025 4:52am I can't be the only one thinking 6 bikes between 2 people isn't that many bikes? 1XC, 1 Enduro, 1DH, X2 people seems pretty well rounded. Maybe swap a longer travel trail bike for the Enduro.
