Obviously everyone has riders they watch and are interested in. Out of curiosity, who and what piques your interest? For me, the Norco revamp brought some fun into things. The portraits were ridiculous (and reminded me of the Royal Tennenbaums, which I love). Just... different. This is a great discussion! A few things I'll add: 1. I'm pretty decent about servicing the lowers and replacing seals on my forks, and that's kept me out of any real trouble or premature bushing or stanchion wear for two decades of riding. It's not rocket science. A seal/wiper installation tool is a relatively cheap one-time purchase, but you can do it for free, too- I recently helped a friend set new seals by cutting out the inner ring from his old seals to make a crude setter tool for the new seals. Bruh, we got soooo much new stuff coming this year, y'all better hold onto yer butts! Not sure why @RiderMikeCheck1 keeps calling one of the new-news the DHF2, though. That ain't it and it's a substantially different tire than the HR. However, he is right that a lot of people are gonna like it! Stoked to see more folks trying out the HR in some varying conditions. Damper fluid degrades from use and heat so is less of an issue sitting around - I don't know figures but I'm sure its fine for years sitting in a bottle. As it breaks down there is a negligible change in damping, but its the reduced lubricity or build up of particles from use that are a problem for the damper. You must be new to the sport if you think DH bike sales and race team budgets are related. DH racing will be around for a long while yet. And it's already been through plenty of ups and downs. Some bigger than others

Just to cleat things up, that was when Gary still owned the company. Clif is owned by Mondelez now… All Clif sponsorship is dead, they might have kept an influencer or two. Gary’s still sponsoring a domestic crit team via the family winery though, because he’s a true hero of cycling.
