I think we're entering into a new pricing scheme in mtb. And it's happening because human brains are so dumb. Bikes are going to - over time - be priced higher and higher and higher and higher until ebikes and meatbikes (my favorite term for non-e-bikes) are almost the same price. I can confirm that the Elite Men's field has a very robust list of top WC pros alongside all of the Domestic Pros from the US. The Women's field is by far and away stronger than any North American race I've ever seen outside of the World Cup rounds (Mont St Anne, Windham, Snowshoe). Way more stacked women's field than Crankworx Whistler. This replay show is going to be a must watch!

We're excited to hear what the Robot overlords think. Back to back testing with wheel swaps is certainly the way to go. To comment on the single pawl on the pusher and concerns with torque/loading: that pawl never actually carries any drivetrain loads, it only acts to engage the 3 traditional pawls on the freehub, so those are actually the items carrying the drive loads.

There should be a law that once a product is EOL and is not supported anymore, the specs for the spare parts should be freely published. Including, for example, the dimensions of frame parts to be able to either weld up cracked parts to correct dimensions or have someone be able to recreate things. Right to repair really can't come quickly enough.

As with every other free hub mechanism out there, if tolerances are right and material choice/quality suitable for the application, I think it's not very complicated at all, however their track record + general inclination towards weight saving in the worst places that is so prevalent in the whole industry... I'm little skeptical.

Most E13 hubs disengage the pawls...................eventually.

One person says we don't need 5-10mm longer C's 20mm longer reach and 64.5 ha mid travel bikes and another says it's exactly what we need. The great thing about having soo many choices is that you should be able to find exactly what you want so long as you aren't locked into a specific brand. Don't get upset because the brand you want doesn't make your ideal geo, very high chances are someone else does make it. Give me long chainstays, long wheelbase, linear travel, and slack. One in mid travel and one in burly long travel.

I had a concussion earlier this year and I love the idea of a bike that's so linear they had to make a special air shock being sold with a coil in the top spec.

Transmission, it's weaknesses, and "solutions" for those weaknesses all seem kind of insane to me. Hey we have this little uvula looking thing on the back of frames which the derailleur attaches to. Usually, derailleurs aren't that expensive these days but just in case, it's meant to bend instead of allowing the derailleur to break.
