I found that sharp high frequency bumps were deadened. Like washboard bumps, or sharp square edge braking bumps. So this let me run my HSC a few clicks stiffer. Then in return my bike handled big compressions better. I used to sacrifice large high speed hits because I was looking for comfort in other areas of the trail that have more chatter.

Hey, yes these are from CounterShox. the blue one on the fork is straight off the moto bike. I tested on my Yamaha 450 first and then had to try on DH bike. I knew it would have a bigger effect. The mount is off a 85cc dirt bike, they have the same diameter clamp as dorado. The one mounted to the seattube is lighter, about 1lb. I 3D printed a mount so it doesn’t rub again the frame. These TMD are not adjustable, from talking to the folks at CounterShox, they have put so much R&D into weights, springs...

Similar product, spotted at the Snow Summit National last weekend behind someone's van. Asked and he said they work great, exactly as intended. We compared notes about how blown away we both were the first time riding a heavy ebike through choppy rough stuff. The front one is apparently an off-the-shelf moto product that fits a Dorado upper leg without modifications. And yes, these are definitely suspended mass dampers. Sadly, this bike needed a steering damper and hand guards to win bike tech bingo.

Thats fair but from what i understand it depends on the type of riding too. ETT change helps with seated position so it might be great for cross country or light trail. I dont think reach is useless though cause ETT doesnt effect much once your standing up however reach does. For downhill or enduro i think reach would be more important than ETT since your standing up on the peddles and not sitting down on the seat going down a rough trail

But there already is, the Status 2 (assuming we are going by travel). I can't see them dropping the Enduro completely. Maybe it won't get refreshed this year but I'm sure it will in 2025.

I believe only Dak and Luca met criteria for automatic placement on Worlds team. All others had to put in a petition which asked questions about WC placings, why you should be chosen etc. Not sure if Ryan was automatically in since his wins were in Jrs the year before.

This is a perfect example for people looking to put together and/or finance small regional teams. Demonstrates that corporate sponsorship allocations happen early fall. If you're young & looking for support for your racing, submissions for 2025 should have been submitted & follow up phone calls completed by now. Dorval/Commencal is actually doing right by fans & riders to announce this now. Demonstrates to racers coming up that you need to have finances & in order by now to be remotely successful. They recognized early on financial limitations were an issue, didn't drag it out & will give their riders...
