6/5/2024 3:15pm Dak tried to cut the one corner on an otherwise dry track that had a puddle of greasy mud on the inside... I wonder if this was a sneaky line he wasn't showing in practice and only attempted in finals? There didn't seem to be any tyre marks through the inside.

6/5/2024 2:18pm I used to look after the rental bikes at a bike park. People used to blow the forks and shocks up all the time so I de-coupled the compression adjusters. They'd come back complaining about the bike and I'd turn the knobs a few clicks for them. They's come back next run raving about how much better it was now.

6/5/2024 2:18pm if this has been discussed, sorry. i can delete. has anyone talked about greg's norco w/ the aluminum rear end stiffened with a carbon wrap since fort william? as seen in our pit bits video. "it may be too stiff, but we're going to try." do they just scuff up the stays and vacuum bag the carbon/resin around it? pretty bonkers

6/5/2024 2:18pm What if the buttons don't do anything but the engineers tell Loic and Finn they do? "Okay big guy, you can choose between boost-blaster setting, super boost-blaster setting, or ultra boost-blaster setting. Now go fast!"

6/5/2024 2:18pm I can pretty much guarantee that if you’re a mushy brain like me (easily get concussions) any helmet designed for motor sports will be too hard to effectively prevent concussions. The higher impact speeds the helmet is designed to prevent from smashing your skull open, the more likely it is to cause a concussion in a minor incident.

6/5/2024 2:16pm Exactly, but why? Pinkerton is also supposed to move to the moto helmet... is it proven to be safer than the mtb helmets Astars just launched? The SM10 is supposed to be ECE 22.06 certified, would be great to be able to buy one helmet for mx and mtb. Having serious concussions in the past, I'm constantly trying to find the safest domes on the market and nobody is testing them to their full potential.

6/5/2024 2:11pm Eventually with even shorter cranks, even bigger bars than Dak we will resemble monowheels with our supreme upright posture. The stack increase is an interesting development, it's not a reaction to the extreme reaches some frames come nowadays, it's restoring a normal body position with the benefits of a long wheelbase.

6/5/2024 2:10pm Geometron wasn't happy about people finding a spot to squeeze a bottle in up front of the shock so they stick a brace in there. Any list of what has changed on this one?

6/5/2024 2:10pm Looks like RockShox quietly released the next version (A2) of the Reverb AXS. Minor changes, lower price (but remote is not included any longer) and 170mm is still the max. https://www.sram.com/en/rockshox/models/sp-rvb-axs-a2
