If anyone at SRAM has a sense of humor, they're going to drop these things on Easter.

They might do a limited run but in Vancouver Canada anything with a bit of flare seems to go way over priced thanks to scalpers.. someone had Jackson goldstone sign their bike (stock nomad) and are trying to get $15,000 CAD for it.. I couldn’t see sram charging more for this kit than the other ultimate mavens Ltd they released

2 years ago some eagle eyed super nibblers on here spotted an ochain on saint cranks at a DH world cup,,,,, I figured enough time has passed that i can disclose how it happened. Am sure someone will be interested. https://www.mtbr.com/threads/modifying-saint-cranks.1237732/#replies

That certainly isn't my color palette, but similar to the Maven launch edition, I like seeing a company as large as SRAM do something unique with the launch of a new product - even if it's "just" a non-traditional color. Also, the Maven Ultimate Expert Kit (if you could get your hands on one at launch) was a really excellent deal considering how much it came with for basically the same price as just the brakes alone. If only these were purple to match my current Sentinel accent color scheme... I'd be nervously waiting around with a credit card to...

Just saw those on a Madison (UK distributor). They look sick. Finally someone is building a DJ wheelset that isn’t DMR 😚

This is just the cassette that's used with the OEM only S1000 Transmission. That whole groupset kind of flew under the radar when it launched, but nothing new here.

I want to love I9 stuff because it's beautiful, and I'm still on team high engagement...but I broke two Hydras and in 30 years of cycling the only stem Ive ever had an issue with was an I9, and it broke on both the body and faceplate. Great warranty, but I needed it four times for three purchases.

Remember Lal Supre Drive? It only ever reached the Nicolai Nucleon 16 Supre, but that partnership was stopped last year. The Lal Bikes guys are now moving in a new direction and developing a steel/carbon frame built around their drivetrain. They hope this proves their drivetrain to the world, and that more manufacturers will show interest. This is a screenshot from their latest Instagram reel (6th March).

I have heard through the crab vine that mech trans & Motive brakes will be released at the end of the month. New Rockshox wireless dropper will one up Wolf Tooth's 242mm drop length and with no hydraulics at all, just air Just speculation though, crabs are quite difficult to understand

Now that so many companies are making things that aren't bottles with mounts for bottle bosses, i.e. tools, tubes, pumps, bags, etc, all bikes, including ,DH bikes should have bosses somewhere, even if there isn't actually room for a full water bottle. Lots of bikes have a second set on the underside of the top tube these days even though usually you can't put a bottle there (bonus for XL frames when sometimes you can). Anybody whose broken something in the top third of the Garbo zone without spares knows the pain...

Huge part of the appeal of these new 170-180mm park bikes is a water bottle. (and a dropper post)
