This seems like a terrible idea. It's not even safe to wash many dishes, pots, pans, and knives in a dishwasher. If anodized aluminum frying pans get pitted in a dishwasher, I'll pass on putting my helmet in there. Also a single dishwasher cycle uses anywhere between 3-5 gallons of water per cycle, or even as much as 10 gallons for an old model (although I suspect Mads isn't using a dishwasher from 1995). But even if it's three gallons, that's an insane amount of water to wash a bike helmet.

That’s pretty stupid thing to post. I bet a lot of people here have a lot of information on hundreds of bikes that are under embargo, but we’re not dickhead so we don’t just go leaking stuff. This is for people to find stuff out in the wild and post it like if a website messes up by posting a bike early or somebody sees something in the wild or spy shots or whatever not just straight up leaking stuff from your bikeshops account

In 2018/2019, six of us bought Levos/Kenevos. We were all existing mountain bikers since the late 90s, we hardly used turbo because of range, none of us were on the heavier side, and we knew how to change gears. All motors failed.

My own feeling about Crankworx is that their drive to expand with multiple events all over the world and the 'Summer Series' events at smaller resorts has diluted their brand to the point where their flagship event in Whistler is no longer special or a draw for both international and local guests like it once was. Why travel all the way to Whistler to ride blown out trails in midsummer heat if you can see all the stars of the various disciplines doing their thing right around the corner from you.

To conclude the gearbox talk from me, I think it's very likely ebikes will have some sort of gearbox in the future, but I doubt that will happen for pedal bikes. I think 1x11 and for sure 1x12 drivetrains were the nails in the coffin of gearboxes. Traditional drivetrains work too well and don't have the negatives (drag and weight) the gearboxes have. Furthermore, ebikes with the current crop of powerful motors need a gearbox due to the power getting out of control. Plus SL bikes are going away so emtb is becoming a different sport to regular pedal bikes...

Maybe this isn't an accurate point of view, but I feel like pedal MTBs and e-bikes aren't really trying to solve the same problems. I think a pretty massive effort goes into the design of pedal MTBs so that they can be comfortably and efficiently pedaled, at least outside of DH-specific bikes. Even enduro bikes, especially those that are raced, need to pedal decently. For an e-bike, pedal performance is probably pretty far down on the list of design goals.
