I mean, everything seems reasonably priced to me Context is important Cranks are beautifully machined and 280€ A set of gx cranks around 100€ online, mass produced vs machined and hard anodized in Germany by a SMALL company, The shock is 1100, comes custom tuned, a Fox X2 blows and retails around the 800€ Same goes with the forks 1650€ for a flash with perfect bushings and all and it’s almost the same for a fox 38 x2, again mass produced in Asia vs something from a tiny company in Germany. Not cheap, but for what it is I’d say...

Prices in the Au/NZ site include taxes, which they don’t in the US isn’t it?

The trek fuel? Carbon, and thats a link the the australian site. So australian dollars. Looks to me like alloy is about 3000 usd and carbon goes up to about 8700 usd. With the conversion to aud still expensive but not crazy compared to like a specialized https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bikes/mountain-bikes/trail-mountain-…

fwiw, adam (the "money guy backer") was at the venue every day moving lumber, signs, cords, spray paint, dirt, tools, boxes etc. he was covered in dirt like all the crew, in addition to hosting riders for meals and gatherings at his home. he was anything but hands-off.

Hopefully a "full time filmer" means a move away from BK's motion sickness inducing wildly wave the camera around style of edits.

Trouble is, with fewer riders on track come race day the more reason to not bother attending and the flatter the atmosphere becomes. So much talk about TV coverage, but it gets less and less appealing as a live spectator as numbers are cut. I've attended Fort Bill 3 times over the years, I'd already think twice now with reduced riders on track to watch.

My two cents. I like watching “second tier” riders right along side the pointy end dudes. Especially when you get to see a rider develop over a few seasons. The rider that starts to qualify more regularly, then becomes a top 15-20 dude, then top 10, and finally a podium threat. I like to see this on the same courses as Loic and Jackson, it gives me scale. I love WC racing, I pay to watch. I am not going to suddenly start paying close attention to IXS Cups. I’ll look at the results of a Monster Energy Series race...

my guess for the 'luscious locks' would be Lou Ferguson, fits the Joe Breedon theory plus she's a previous Nukeproof rider

Just my observation but I live in western Canada and can’t think of the last time I saw an Intense in the wild. This includes plenty of time in Whistler, Squamish, etc. I assume they sell more in the US but can’t comment. Makes me wonder if the race team is worth their investment.

It is likely to be Breeden. As he was just up in Fort William "testing". Questions are is this a done deal and what was Intense Factory Racing becomes Nukeproof Factory Racing? And if the above is true, how or why or just WTF and why can't Intense maintain a stable race presence anymore?

I just want to say I completely disagree with every single point. A simple down vote wasn't enough. Just because you can't fathom what drives others, doesn't give you the right to demean them.
