Personally, I'm still in the "In denial" club! 😂
Not sure if they have been posted here and maybe not tech rumors since the renderings are on their site since a while but does anyone has any information about them to share or refer me to another forum/site?
How about the two Tylenol, two Advils and two robaxin (all extra strength) club!
This may help soothe the pain

So how long before someone has to give us old guys instructions on how to start a senior citizen thread?🤣
I'd subscribe for the tech/racing history lessons.
Yelling at clouds tech thread. In!! Ill just grab my cane
Well I think the idea is that we would retire the tech and innovations forum after 1000. You old guys can walk these green-ish pastures and comment how you remember when tubeless came out. Or how crazy the idea of 27.5 was when it was released. You retire, your home retires with you
Us young bucks can start a new forum. So yall can sleep well. /s
(Im never leaving)
One thing you won't hear me go on about is how much better things were "back in the day"... Simpler, yes.. But, better? You're gonna have a hard time selling me on that. Maybe somethings have hit a bit of overkill involving electronics.. Yes, it's cool if you want it, but there are some great mechanical drivetrains now.. Suspension designs that actually work.. I guess that even though I'm in the 50+ club, I'm still a bike geek and I've been lucky enough to see some much of the MTB time line and ride a good number of them.. Can't wait to see what's next...
Thanks, saw those as well. A bit biased imo
Was hoping for some new releases at the first ever Sea Otter Australia, but havent seen squat. Lame.
Surprised as well. Think it’s going to be a slow year on new tech. This could be the year we start to see impacts of industry cuts on budget and new projects
Paul Aston had a short but unbiased review of them earlier this year.

Here's something new: major brand aluminium bikes for five figures.
Edit because the Trek website is increasingly confusing to navigate:
got an email about vivo F3 shifter and derailleur updates. pics/deets below. price is $255 for shifter and $370 for derailleur - https://www.vivoartisan.com/shop
The trek fuel? Carbon, and thats a link the the australian site. So australian dollars. Looks to me like alloy is about 3000 usd and carbon goes up to about 8700 usd. With the conversion to aud still expensive but not crazy compared to like a specialized

Something new from Evil is coming?
New Offering, and i hope a new Wrecker soon.
The numbers in the description translate to "come close" in ASCII encoding, whatever that means.
new offering 160/150 with a 170 build kit that comes with a vivid. and i believe flip chip for MX?
i immediately went to translate that from binary. to me, "come close" alludes to "following" more than any of their model names.
I hope it means "fuck boost frame spacing".
The Calling. Which I would buy… I still think about getting one. But no more warranties on those bad boys
Offering. Wish it was a Wreckoning. Sounds like the Wreckoning is further away, like next year per them when I visited last month.
This seems like something that will give you all the downsides of both linkage and telescopic forks in exchange for some anti dive. But telescopic forks are getting pretty good at mid stroke anyway
A telescoping fork can't react very well to brake-induced weight transfer on its own, so if this is set up correctly you shouldn't have to worry as much about brake dive when tuning the fork. I don't know how much of a benefit that might be and presumably the pivot locations and arm lengths need to be tuned to the rider.
My thoughts: interesting.
Nope alloy Fuel LX 9.
As per the US Trek page $5199.99
And comparing straight conversion for the AU/NZ is laughable and quite amusing.
So thats a mark up of $2361.51 AUD
