Unless you’re talking about Time. No rebuild kits available nor will they provide any specs for sourcing your own replacement parts.

This is something that Sram does very well. Great support for aftermarket maintenance with rebuild kits for everything they sell. $30 for an alloy RD cage is extremely good value too.

You don’t need to buy the assembly with the clutch. Aluminum T-Type cage: $30 https://www.performancebike.com/sram-ttype-rear-derailleur-pulley-cage-…

It also costs more to build a car from parts than it does to buy one off the lot. That is how most products are.

For context, I can (and have on previous trips) tear through a maxx terra DHR 2 in 7 days in whistler with 3-4 days in the park and 3-4 days pedaling. That same DHR 2 would last me ~300-500 miles in socal with the low end being my enduro bike and the higher end of that being my trail bike. That wear looks really good for a maxx grip dissector with those riding stats from my pov. I could tear through the previous gen maxx terra dissector in 8 rides or less in socal (~160 miles). I can't wait to...

Can people redo that drop out test by tightening the pinch bolts incrementally instead of torquing one down completely before doing the other? I know the manual doesn't say that but its the proper way to tighten any pinch bolt system

People who routinely service forks have seen this from Fox for years now. Floating axle or not, Fox finds a way to make the fork bind. Not surprising it has carried on to the Podium. All the time and money spent developing an air spring with a "floating piston" only to have the chassis bind more than the air spring ever could, pretty sad.

Screw that, I don't want to have to disconnect my brake hose just to mount it to a fork. I hate the internally routed rear enough.

I've been running the new Dissector in the rear (MaxxGrip DoubleDown) the past three days in Whistler. Here is a wear update at 57 miles, 10,600 ft climbing and 15,000 ft descending. Initial thoughts: Sick rear tire for down country and trail riding. Side lugs have good support, transit knobs add consistency when leaning over, and it rolls nice and fast. It's also got deep enough knobs that it can grab traction in moderately loose/mixed soil. I've really enjoyed how it allows my rear wheel to settle through supported corners. My rear wheel will slightly break loose and whip around...

Yes DD/MT is available. Also, keep in mind Whistler is extra hard on tires.

Yeah, there is absolutely zero chance they have a mould that's that far along and show it off as not final. I guess they're going to band aid it with an angled hose guide in the footprint of the original. Either that or someone is gonna get rich selling kashima zip ties.

OT on. Some top tier brake pads (Trickstuff power, Galfer green) are organic. It depends on the application, for a 3-4 minute dh run organic are superior IMO, but I can see for general riding maybe not so much. OT off
