Looking at the website a “400wh motor powers big rides” Man, I got a different definition of big ride than Transition.

I forget where I heard it, but supposedly these new Dominions are launching at the Sea Otter and are pumping....MINERAL OIL! 😲If true, that is actually a plus for me, but I know it is a very contentious topic and will alienate a lot of existing users and DOT fans.

If they are claiming that the platform supports the shoe, how can they ensure that plus ensure reliable clipping in?

I think I disagree with most of what you said. What is the little screw for then if not for bite point adjustment? Maybe you have a bad bleed. It works like a charm on my brakes and makes the bite point either very close to the bar or further away.

Sounds like a skill issue. Anyway, there's a thread for you to whine about brakes in. Your comments add nothing about tech rumors.

The lever throw is pretty easily adjustable when you're setting them up... There's a grub screw behind the lever blade. I shortened mine up once, and the start/ bite point is much closer to the grips.... they've remained consistent for years. I personally find the Dominion power much easier to modulate than Shimanos as well, especially given that you could...

Yeah I think it is a selling point that nobody ever really uses. I don't think more than a handfull of people across the world will be converting their rallon from enduro rig to a DH rig for a park weekend on an even semi-regular basis. Are people really going to get the different links, shock, fork, and maybe wheels/tires just for a couple of park weekends a year? And if you're actually going to a park more often I'd say its easier to just own a decent DH bike. IDK man. I'd say it's a way bigger win for...

Looks like a Ryde Edge series rim. Weird they put a photo with a mangled nipple front n center: I realize that's a bit obsessive, but as a wheel builder this matters.

current mondraker is a factory team for at least 2 seasons! MS (Markus Stöckl) WAS mondraker (till 2023), then intense (2024) and is now zerode.

Maples issue is that you can’t have more than four elite male riders with the new rules. Pierron, vergier, alran twins will be the elite men.

Disagree. I do less maintenance on my electronic stuff than I ever did on mechanical. The stuff that does get maintained is present in both flavors (i.e. jockey wheel bearings). The time I spend annually removing batteries to put them on chargers & replacing them is measured in single digit minutes. I'm not saying that everyone SHOULD go wireless, I'm just saying the anti-battery crowd makes wireless systems out to be some overly complex thing when in reality they're not.

I think it should be time to gatekeep. I've already been calling out creators using AI, I wouldn't be opposed to calling out people who take free stuff from Lewis.
